MBT just turned 35, if he thinks he's going to get another crack at the NFL now, he's delusional.

There were probably a half dozen QB's cut in TC's around the league. Not sure if Pigrome is even on anybodies radar. If so he could have been signed to a PR 5 weeks ago for a look see.

We don't even really know why we didn't do that. Perhaps he wouldn't accept a PR spot. Perhaps he didn't have a good learning curve. Only the Bombers know the details.
He should be in their top 5 QB targets. I know that Hamilton and Toronto also had a couple nice back up options in preseason.
I'd give the advantage to Pigrome because on top of the talent he showed passing the rock, his running game was unbelievable for a QB. He broke more tackles (on backup defenders) than I've ever seen from a running quarterback! It was electric!

I would be fine being wrong about him, but I really want to see him get a shot somewhere. He is so much fun to watch!!

Not as a starter but as a # 2 QB or # 3 QB he might. $700K USD NFL money to sit on the bench is more than he'll get in the CFL.

Are you related or something? lol

The Bombers thought he was below Prukop at the moment and we don't think Prukop will be a CFL starter. Most QB's spend time on PR's or # 3 for several years before getting a shot. How many passes have all of our back up QB's thrown since Collaros arrived?

You do understand his time on field was against backups and cuts, right?  And that his runs were broken plays, something no QB is ever praised for.  I get that the visuals were "electric", but for the wrong reasons against weal opposition.

Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

Some good discussion here.  Really a bad situation but hope it leads to a QB or two being discovered or at least developed.

Sounds like
@REDBLACKS
will be bringing in 2 new QBs tomorrow. I suspect they will be Jake Dunniway, who was with the team in training camp & Tyrrell Pigrome who was with the #Bombers for the first 3 games of the season.

Smart move by WPG, release him to get development time someone else, then we'll sign him next year!  ;D

Developmentally speaking, Pigrome and Crum are the same guy. Looks like they'll have to live with it though.

It's been said a million times it doesn't matter but I've also seen it happen a million times... Pigrome brings our playbook with him.

Minor factor.  Other teams know Bucks offense and Collaros really well.  Yeah we got some good new looks but it's mostly all known what we do.  When you are as good as we are it doesn't matter if the opposition knows some of our plays.  We make adjustments and crush em.

I also have heard them say they really pick their brains in the film room. It's done enough that it must be helpful.

Easy with the crushing....it was BC and woeful Vernon Adams that crushed us a couple of weeks ago

They've won back-to-back games in pretty convincing fashion since then, though.
