I have soft of lost track of Bo Levi Mitchell. I believe is in the 6 game injury list. Any idea if or when he will be back?

Nope. He could come off early or be gone even longer. I think this was his 2nd game on the IR.

HAM looks baaaad.  They only reason they won this is they were picking on a raw rookie and the concomitant INTs.  And even the raw rookie almost pulled off a win.

Schiltz is bad.  BLM is bad.  Every QB OTT is left with is bad.

You want to talk about trade possibilities... we are the only ones holding a possible starter: Prukop.  Might we test the waters?  Does either OTT or HAM have a monster IMP DT?  We should have the SMS with all our injuries.  It would suck to lose our "Strev-lite" #3, but it might be worth it to once again have the best DL in the league?

I just want to mention that for a few plays before that one, Masoli was looking tight and uncomfortable, and moving his legs in an awkward manner.  Like his body was giving him signals, but he probably thought it was just rust.  He just didn't look right.  Then ... snap.

This is a possibility.  We don't usually do these type of trades, but KW has done it before, and if we feel we have a big need...  Piggy would become the dev guy.  SY will just have to sort itself out.

I could also see either Evans or even Dom Davis heading to OTT or HAM.  Only so many battle-tested QBs just sitting around.  I don't think either team can sit pat with what they have.  Whoever trades with OTT could take Arbuckle for "free" if they want him.

It's funny, the E is so bad Cody looks like an all-star over there!  I think it's best for him he got out of the heat and expectations of the W.  Wearing Green is like the worst job if you aren't producing.

The only way we would get Piggy back would be if we traded Dru Brown instead. That would be super risky for us not having a game ready back up.

But I do think releasing Piggy was a mistake. I can picture him becoming a GREAT quarterback in this league.

Piggy had a few pre-season plays against cuts and backups.  No doubt he has flair, and a cool nickname, but there is zero proof he will someday be "a GREAT quarterback in this league".

The fact that almost every team in the league needs QB depth, and Piggy hasn't got even a PR sniff speaks volumes.  We have seen too many QB's have a short spurt of success and then flame out to worry that Piggy is any different. 

Would I have liked to see what he could develop into?  You bet.  You always want to think your team has "found the next guy".  But Brown is a much safer bet, and Prukop showed last game why he was brought in, he is short yardage gold, and he's a proven backup if pressed into duty, either due to injury or in mop up.

If Piggy was "the next one", he'd be on a roster in Edm, Ott or Ham already.  Or Cgy, Ssk.  Or even Mtl or BC.

Yup, confirmed on Coaches Show I just heard now (and probably elsewhere).  I hope Piggy does well.  But not too well!  If he turns into the next Rourke or BLM wunderkind-off-the-bench I'll be mega-bummed...
