He was a game time decision for game 1 but was put on the 1 game injured list the day of the game.

The following week he was placed on the 6 game.

That is what I thought. He is my favourite current Blue Bomber but this is silly. Will he even play this year?

Shayne Gauthier did not finish the game in Montreal and is listed on today's injury report as having suffered a foot injury, which may explain the Beeksma signing.

Gauthier being out (if he ends up being so) causes a bigger problem for us than, say, Miller, IMHO.  Gauthier takes reps in most games as a Biggie speller.  He's very good at guiding the D, and he's a stout defender against the run.  And he's a lifesaver on ST.

Hopefully he just needs a couple vet days.  Otherwise Briggs may have more on his plate.

Szott being released maybe shows Eli has shown great in his first dress?  So Szott was just a placeholder in case of emergency?  I think he dressed for 1-2 games this season?  Will another team pick him up?

Key depth player.  I can still remember the experts whispers he and Briggs would be replaced with younger alternatives a couple camps ago.  Lifetime Bombers, I hope.  Agree all.  Briggs suffers against the run.

I hope you're right but I think it's more serious than that, or they wouldn't have picked up Beeksma.  I fear broken foot bones.

Roster is still screwed up. IIRC, Agudosi and Kramdi were moved to 1 game IR but still show on the roster. So does Demski and I thought he was moved to 1 game IR. 

Now I see Murphy was moved back to PR which would suggest ( to me anyway ) that Demski will be active this week.

Cole was also moved back to PR and I'm not sure why that was done unless they want Agudosi as an extra receiver instead of a LB as a DI. That might make sense if Gauthier wasn't nicked and possibly be going to IR.  That might mean Beeksma moves to game day roster and somewhat fills a LB ST role?

Demski never went to the 1 game. He remained on the game day roster and the Bombers only fielded 44 players.

Roster is almost always screwed up.  When they do all this new-fangled Genius tech they should tie the team roster pages into the transaction feed so it auto-updates itself with the current data.  It wouldn't be terribly hard (some @CFL give me a call! haha).

I think the team sites get updated on a best-effort basis, manually by some poor guy/gal with a paper checklist, which sometimes means multi-day delays.  For instance, the week 4 depth chart never did appear on the 2023 week/chart listing page by game time.
