CGY needs to ditch the zone.  VAJ is throwing with zip and making quick decisions with quick reads.  He is looking like Rourke a little bit.  They're just killing the zone.

Solid refereeing other than that weird roughing call on the punt return. It looked clean to me.

Milt and Matty agree in the HT show, echo what I said.  That hit was RTP because if it's not, you've set the precedence and making it more subjective.  Chezie is right that it's somewhat stupid, but the rule is the rule and like others have said, the CFL has called lighter hits before (even on WPG!).

Prior to this it always seemed like the rule hinged on whether it looked "forceful" enough.  The hint is usually "does the QB head move in a substantial way?".  Maier's head moved quite a bit from the hit.  A hit just a bit harder than that took Evans out of the '21 GC...

Calgary looked like it was the first day of practice.  Maier looks like he will be unemployed as will Dickinson by labour day.   Wow they looked really bad.

BC looked like they were playing pop Warner first year guys,?bC O line looked like the best in the world.

Hugh Campbell has aged well.  Good for him.

2 missed FG's. One missed convert. One kick out of bounds. 2 int's and 1 fumble on the return. Lots of rough play and / or retaliation penalties.

Calgary looked really bad and were out coached. BC looked good at times but it may have been because Calgary was so bad? It will take a few games more to determine where either team stands.

Carey injured his foot and that could cause problems and a stint on the IR.

I disagreeing found the game very entertaining. VAJ looked spot on. Rhymes looked real good other than one bad drop. Calgary D stepped up but no O. Carey already went down in the 4th.

Nice running plays as well by both teams.

Low standards right now I guess but I was thoroughly entertained!
