We shall see how our new punters do and how Leggs does if he can find another club to play on.  Way to early to know how this plays out.

Can't believe we added Damian Jackson to the PR.

Little shocked that we cut Veltri and MacDougall. I thought one of these players would get a PR spot.

I thought MacDougall still has eligibility. Anyways, I?m surprised about Sterling, Wade and Salima. The lack of depth we are carrying at LB and DE is rough.

Jackson I am shocked about, but if he can do a bunch of different roles for us, then so be it. Only carrying 3 DEs on the AR (and giving up on Adamson) is what stands out most to me.

Wade looked absolutely terrible out there.

Would have like to see Salima get a shot, but we aren't changing our ratio for him.

when i was reading up on him, it appeared missed tackles were his issues in the NFL too.

Jackson showed he can do two jobs.  MOS likes him.

he also is a good DI option. He can do STs, defense and block (and long snap). Good depth.

Speaking of which, don?t love no locker options on the PR. I thought Staton showed well enough to learn there

2 years ago that was a good punt. I think the ref crew got a jingle from the command centre reminding them that the rule changed last year & a penalty should be called (out of bounds between the 15s now)

This is exactly what happened.  That ref standing there on the 17 had no clue the rule had been changed to the 15.  Placement was all good, they just forgot it was a penalty.

I'm surprised they cut Leggs.  The other P's didn't look so great in game 2.  But dressing a GLOB P is "free" (we don't need that 2nd GLOB dressed).  And we can now have an extra ST/D NAT.

I'm not happy with the move.  Why not roster the guy and then trade-bait him to the other teams before week 1??  I'm pretty sure some team will snap him up.  At the very worst you PR the guy.  Or C.Jones can IR him.

If some other team snaps him up immediately and fires their existing guy, you know Leggs had some value.  I still think he can be serviceable long term.  Now the pressure is on Castillo to be more Meddy-level than Leggs-level.  If Castillo gives us Leggs-level then we made a biiiiiiiig mistake.

Dude, he wasn't that good and got cut. He got far more chances than most do in this sport.
