We (fans) did none of the above because right after the GC it was too raw and no one wanted to even think about it or rewatch it. It took even me a week to get over the emotions to start spending a lot of time analyzing specific plays. I didn't get a single interested response when I brought it up.
Football fans talking about a particular play in a critical moment of a key game seems like a perfectly reasonable discussion topic on a football discussion board.
