Apparently Walters interviews every one of their draft picks prior to both drafts and isn't shy about asking if they'll show up if chosen.  I guess he sometimes gets false answers or players just change their minds.  It's a big commitment to fly from the other side of the globe only to be cut loose a few weeks later.

Yeah well 2 of 3 draft choices didn't show up in 2022 either. So of 5 picks over 2 draft years, 3 waffled.

Schmitz signed as a P in the draft but the roster lists him as a WR?? Can he also play receiver?
