This is a great move by the club.  Lions really did it right with all the extra media stuff and inside-the-locker-room videos and more of the mundane "here's my life", "here's us in the locker room", "here's us in the cafeteria" stuff that the millennials lap up.  Hey, I kind of liked it too, but the oldsters (well, older than me) might find it annoying.  But you need it to attract the youtube generation.

All the CFL clubs need to hire an expert and pump out the same type of content.

Man oh man is MOS going to hate it.... Poor MOS!

(So which one our dudes is the team's Lucky Whitehead?)

Both the Ti-Cats and the RedBlacks seem to be pumping out the random video material as well, Simoni even has his own show were he interviews fellow players.

I'll check them out.  The "random", "inside look" thing is really what I'm talking about.  Like stuff a MOS wouldn't want shown.  Like from pep talks, speeches to dirt and embarrassment and painful stuff.  Real life.  (Ok, maybe not quite that raw.)  That's what "the kidz these dayz" want.

The player-hosted-show format isn't really the same thing.  Neufeld was already doing that with video-calls during 'vid.  Having a legit videographer with all-areas-access @IGF (and elsewhere) is what you need.

We've done a bit of this "life" stuff when following some players around off-campus, like the Woli playing guitar segments, or the Brady getting reserve dogs segments.  But we need tons of that, not just a couple a year, and they should be shorter segments (i.e. not so much energy/crew doing it).
