TSN to Televise 4 Pre Season in 2023

TSN will televise four CFL preseason games in 2023, according to a broadcast schedule distributed by the network on Monday. These four contests are as follows.

Friday, May 26 - Montreal Alouettes vs. Ottawa Redblacks at 7:30 p.m. ET

Saturday, May 27 - Toronto Argonauts vs. Hamilton Tiger-Cats at 4 p.m. ET

Saturday, May 27 - B.C. Lions vs. Saskatchewan Roughriders at 7 p.m. ET

Friday, June 2 - Saskatchewan Roughriders vs. Winnipeg Blue Bombers at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Didn't Alberta get the royal shaft last year too?  I faintly recall they did.  No televised PS games.

And was it SSK that got 2 games televised last year?  I remember 1 team did.

For us, this sucks worse than last year, because they are televising the game that's here in WPG.  What I want to see is our away game.  If we have an away in SSK (do teams get 3 PS games??) then we'd have to make the drive to see it.  If it's only 2 PS games then we may have to drive (fly) even farther... or rely on a local forum member to go and report back!  (That means we'll be ok if it's in BC or CGY.)

Is it impossible to schedule so every team sees their away game? Since there's nine teams, maybe make the pre-season schedule three weeks long?

It's just pre-season, but why does it always seem like the CFL is just shotting themselves in the foot over and over?

Ya, you & PJ are right.  It's going to look like Chris Jones is back in town with how many players SSK will need to eyeball to get a decent AR.

It being the Riders road preseason game, we probably won't even have heard of most of the players, and I wouldn't be surprised if they have a couple players with the same number on the game day roster.

Its not going to be a fun game to scheme against, and with the price of Vanilla right now, not even sure we want to call it that... (just kidding, had to buy Vanilla yesterday, we go through a lot for pancakes, and a 40ml bottle was $9.  And yes, real vanilla, not that artificial crap)
