Huff steps away as GM, stays President.  Dickenson move to HC/GM spot. I would look for Mark Killiam to get "Asst H/C" added to his title, and promises of landing the full job soon, to keep him on the Stamps.
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

Look for brother Craig to find a soft landing spot once he's booted out of Saskatchewan.

lol I highly doubt that. Not sure to how this changes much of anything in Cow Town other than Huffer slightly less responsibility but I am sure will have paw prints all over this roster.

Huff staying on as a "consultant" - so might just be a case of Shenanigans.

No one is surprised.  This was always the plan in CGY.  And it's fairly clear Killam is being groomed for HC.  They don't want to lose him to a SSK, OTT or MTL -- all who might be looking his way.

The WM/MOS presser the other day strongly hinted that they have tried to model the office/coach structure on CGY.  That would mean that there are probably verbal agreements about where some people will move as long as they play ball... And that could be a huge reason why MOS and Buck are absolutely staying put.

Back to CGY: Dickenson The Greater taking on the GM role too... he's going to have his plate full.  Can he handle it?  I doubt he'll do that more than 1 year.  I know C.Jones thinks you can do it, but so far most other attempts have proven unsuccessful.

And it's slightly bad news for us longer term, because Dickenson The Greater has been a pretty bad HC in the last 2.5 seasons.  Horrific decisions all the time.  Killam might be smarter about it, and thus harder to beat.

is a HC/GM combo ever really successful in football...there are exceptions but doesn't it usually fail?

I think Wally had success with it but can't really think of anyone else unless Huff also did it for awhile.

While, on paper, it is HC/GM... I think it may still have a lot of Huff in the picture.  Not sure if Huff's salary is inside the front office SMS now or not...

I'd be surprised if Dickenson isn't still the one calling the offensive plays and the de-facto offensive coordinator even if someone else holds that title.
