I will die on the hill that if you have a poor OL, you want a guy with a quick release, not a mobile QB.

CoFaj ran into all his sacks trying to run around. T. Harris will just get it out of there.

Also the Sask. receiving corps while big on "names" last year let Cody down many times. This is part of why I believe that they are making so many changes at receiver. A quick release QB and a different receiver core could make a big difference. In saying that though, they better improve the o-line either through personelle or coaching/schemes. Harris has a reputation of being "thrown off" his game after getting hit.

Posters are dumping on Fajardo, like it was his fault Sask sucked last yr.
First off he played almost the entire season with a inured knee.
Second, his O-line sucked
Third, the supposed big name receivers, quit on the team
His OC Maas has never been very sucessful as a coach.

Now they have not released him have they?
Fajrdo would have got the Riders into the Grey Cup a few years ago accept for hitting a goal post. That fluke allowed the Bombers to get in.
Fajardo doe not read defences all that well.
He resorts to scrambling.  With a bad knee it cut down on that tool, and he as we saw wasn't a great pocket passer.

If he gets an o-line, and the knee is stable, he can do good things.

As was just mentioned, how is Harris going to fare behind a crap line in Sask with no former "has beens" at receiver.?
It would be great if Sask signs Lewis.  Then they should go get some big American to block, and they will re-bound.

A top LB but he want's top money and wants to start. He'd be an asset to any team but who is in the market for a MLB at the moment? Muamba and Lacey are still available. All 3 will want some big $$$$. If I had to pick I'd take Sankey as the younger more versatile player. Muamba has the advantage of being a Canadian. Expensive choices.

Montreal Alouettes announced they have signed American receiver Reggie White Jr. to a contract extension. He was set to become a free agent on Tuesday. The team also announced the signing of American linebacker Avery Williams, who was recently released by the Ottawa REDBLACKS, and the release of American defensive lineman Mike Moore.

One more for #TiCats fans on what?s shaping up to be a super Sunday: I?ve heard from multiple league sources that DL Ja'Gared Davis has agreed to a deal to return to Hamilton. But as we saw last year with JG, until it's signed on Tues, ya just never know @CFLonTSN

Any team that wants to get to a Grey Cup should sign Davis... he's been to 6 consecutive, right?  Every year in the league, he's played in the final.

I used to think that way (awkward) but now believe the "business" side is more important than anything now. I understand it and believe most players and management think that too.
