So plans are in place for Grey Cup.
My younger son is excited to go but said he will not wear his Harris jersey
for the game lol.  He just can't cheer for him in the double blue.

Its a juicy storyline for the media and I am sure for many of the players.

I'd rather be a Bomber than a .....

Jesse

I retired mine before the season.

Picked up a Collaros home jersey and won a Bighill away jersey.

I will be wearing the Bighill one next week.

If I had a 33 jersey, I'd wear it proudly for this game!  I'll be cheering for AH when he makes big plays.  If he earns a win out of our D, I'll be happy for him, just as many of our players will (like Biggie).  I said here when AH got <flameshield on> "dumped" that it would be epic if it's him vs us in the GC.  It's his chance to give a big finger to MOS/KW.

However, vilifying 33 jerseys will produce a lot of sales for the Bomber Store.  Hehehe.  Bluehawk, you sure you're not Wade in disguise?  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hey Tech,

This discussion was had months ago....AH gave the bombers the big middle finger before the season.
It was all about AH first and not the team or the Bombers.
I have retired mine and it will stay in the closet until Andrew retires. I would proudly wear it when he is back to retire as a bomber.
I can't believe that there would be one single bomber player in our locker room that would be happy for AH to win a cup on Sunday.....no chance.

Mine's retired in the back of my closet also.
Won't see the light of day until he retires. I'm especially not wearing it this upcoming weekend.
GO BLUE BOMBERS GO !

<flameshield still on>

Not relitigating the past discussion.  But I'm unchanged in my proud support for AH33 and not afraid to say it.  I fully understand your take on it.  AH is not blameless.

Watch the post-game interviews on bb.com, especially the Biggie one.  They specifically ask him about AH and he's very gracious.  Classy Biggie will be the first one to congratulate AH on the field if AH wins, especially if TOR wins with AH running rampant over our D.  They won't be happy TOR won, but they'll be happy for AH.

MOS said something similar.  Very supportive of AH, which surprised me a little bit.  Maybe the main rift was more KW/AH, even though I'm sure MOS must have been involved.

The rift was entirely one-sided. Team wanted to move on and AH was offended.

There's zero reason to think anyone in the organization has anything against Andrew the person.

Exactly. Harris felt slighted by the organization's decision and he took it personally, making it bigger than it had to be.

For the Bombers, this is just business as usual, IMO.

After Harris called out the haters in a big way in his post 2019 Grey Cup interview, I wouldn't doubt if he would do something similar if he wins on Sunday and takes a shot at the Bombers. Hopefully we will never find out!
Weird, I've never heard Zac talk about holding a grudge towards the Argos or Riders for giving up on him.

In all fairness and as justified as AH may have felt after winning the GC and the two awards, I wished he had kept that to himself.   It was my only criticism of him at the time and was easily forgiven.....however when he expected to be re-signed in 22' based on what he had done.....it showed a lack of maturity.    I was disappointed in him for that and yes I can kind of understand how he felt.....however we're talking about staying on the same level as MOS when it comes to respect and he didn't rise up to the challenge.    His ego was bruised and it showed.....too bad.    I was ready to place him up there with Leo Lewis but for his over-reaction and I haven't changed my opinion.    Was he the greatest Canadian RB we or the league have seen?   Yes.   Had he stayed with us there is no doubt he would still be playing for a 3-peat for the city of Winnipeg and his teammates however now he is playing for a 3 peat mainly for himself!

As Shakespeare would say "therein lies the rub" !!    That being said, I still like our chances on Sunday!!

If Toronto wins it'll be more about the fact that our QB got injured in the last game of the year before the GC than it will be about Andrew Harris running the ball.  If Zach is 100% healthy Toronto running the ball over and over would just be in our favour as they help kill the clock more.  The only concern I have now is the injury to Zach and how it will impact his game come the grey cup.

Pigskin

Toronto's run game does scare me. They ran the ball 15-times last Sunday for 80 yards. AH33 had an Avg of 4.3 per carry. There RBs picked up 83 yards on 3 screen passes. This is the play I would be keying on. AH33 also didn't get many touches in the second half. AH33 was favoring his hip late in the 1st. quarter. Is he 100%?

??? ??? ???

...you think that Bomber fans are going to buy Harris jerseys if he's vilified?

As for me, count me in the crowd that hung up their 33 after Andrew left the team and when he retires a Bomber, I will get it signed by him and then have it framed for my rec room wall until the day I day.

Rocking a #10 this season and zero regrets. Although a #20 is looking mighty appealing these days...

Other way around. Vilifying AH causes people to buy new jersey's...like Demski and Collaros...

Ya, the point being that 33% of the jerseys at IGF in 2021 were #33.  If everyone thinks like blue_or_die (and the others retiring their #33's), that's beacoup $$ for Wade and the WFC.  Hey, I'm not complaining, great marketing strategy.
