I expect BC to try to pick on our 2 corners, Rose and Lawrence.

They pick on Rose at their peril.  I think Rose bites them bad.  Rose will switch on his playoff mode.  Kinda like Willie.  "Let's go Strevie!"

Rick Campbell says Nathan Rourke will not be 100 percent tomorrow but he?s continued to improve.

He says the team has been transparent about the injury and he?s right. B.C. is the most transparent team in the league when it comes to injuries.

Ah, I see Rick has learned from the School Of Craig Dickenson Hedging.  Pre-setup the injury narrative when you know you're likely to lose and all the post-game heat disappears because "oh poor Cody's Nathan's glutes footsie wootsie"!

Campbell merely stated what everyone saw last game-Rourke was limping and clearly not 100%.  I don't think he's making any excuses, just stating the obvious.

Rose will get torched at least once...pretty regular occurrence.

Most worried about Leggio to be honest - especially if he attempts and misses one early...play a clean game and we should win...but the best team doesn't always win..

I didn't want to even mention Leggs.  We're all thinking that, but trying hard not to.  Just going to have to trust he'll get it done and hope Zach puts it in the EZ so much we won't need FGs.

As for Rose, I'd make a bet with any takers that Rose will make more spectacular oooh-aaah plays than "torched"s.  I'm smelling an INT... I hope Rourke picks on our Rose/Nichols side, as it's the strong side that's greenest.

Just recalling from last year, limiting the turnovers is crucial. Don?t give BC easy points like Sask did.

Not concerned about sacks, but getting some defensive pressure regularly would be
Nice. Might see a lot of 3 d-lineman sets of BC gets down early as they will abandon the run.

Game day !!

Weather will be a non issue, minus 5 to minus 7 is nothing terrible.  Players won't even notice that, cold toes will be the worst of it for the fans.

Rose could make a play..hope he does, but I suspect he will get burned on at least on 40+ yarder.

I don't think they are allowed to just switch a "GTD" guy with someone not on the AR at the last minute??  Wouldn't they have to just count the GTD guy as a scratch?

That's why I'm thinking Bailey plays.  This might all be a ruse.  MOS was playing coy with the practice injury reports: listing everyone's stubbed toe and scratched thumb and saying "questionable".  Hahaha.  No way we slot in Bailey when we're pretty sure he can't play at the expense of dressing McCrae.  Bailey's whole out-of-nowhere injury is a bit weird in any event.  Dude's a tank who doesn't miss games.

Funny you prefer BOO, I'd pick McCrae instead.  If you lose the IMP of Bailey, you want to put another IMP there.  BOO is already rostered.  We really have no depth on the AR besides BOO (again hinting Bailey must play).  McCrae is more versatile, like a Demski, though BOO has the passport.

I'm not exactly sure how a GTD works and whether they can activate a player from the PR. Having moved McCrae to PR I think the GTD was made earlier this week. Otherwise we could end up playing 1 players short?

But yes, looking at the productivity and ratio advantage I'd start BOLO and bring back Walker from the PR over McCrae. He has more receptions and yardage per reception. Walker would help run stop in the middle.

Also not concerned about sacks, though I expect we rack up some as Rourke starts to feel the pressure to extend plays to make something happen.

I think we go up by a lot early and after being thrown to the turf a bunch, we see VAJ finish the game.

Disagree - Campbell is just laying the ground work for a poor performance by Rourke!

Conversely how bad will it look if a 75% Rourke torches the Bombers...

Have we actually played Burnam this season?

If we were on the road the story might be different but at home I think Rourke will have a real problem with croud noise and the new wrinkles on D.  I don?t think Burnham has played in any of the 3 games.

I really do not see it happening for a number or reasons - weather, it is our house , Richie Hall defense and the fact remains Rourke has not played in this type of game before, has not played a full season so not really known how well he will handle the pressure.

But on the other hand if a 75% Rourke torches us - then full credit to him and his team. Just do not see it happening - at least IMHO.
