If we only ever sold lower bowl tickets to our games, then yes.  But our stadium isn't a 54,500 seat domed behemoth, that would require us to not sell the upper decks.

Sort of like Moose games.  Canada Life Centre is oversized for the team/league, so lower bowl only.

BC never sell upper deck tickets to their games, just the lower bowl.  So, having sold out the lower bowl, they sold some upper deck tickets.

Did they sell out the stadium?  Nope, and won't even for a GC now.  Hosted GC 9 times, sold out 3, 2 of which they played in, last one, 2011...

Did they oversell their normal football capacity?  For sure...

So, yes, sell out.

BC. - 5.2M people. MB. - 1.4M.

BC may have 4 times the population, but I'd venture they have fewer CFL fans...
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

My brother and his son are flying in from Toronto for the game. My older brother and his son and grandson will be arriving from BC tomorrow.  So that's 5 more tickets. We might just get to a sell out yet. Still nearly 3 days left to buy a ticket.

It?s just ridiculous to claim a sell out over and over, even TSN talking that way, when it wasn?t a sell out.
It?s kind of embarrassing actually. Just say you sold 30,000 tickets, it?s that simple.

Keep in mind the majority of tickets for the Lions were much cheaper than Winnipeg's for comparable seating.  If we had the same price points, the game would be sold out.

Did a quick rough count.  About 1700 tickets left....so should be approaching 32,000...unless ticketmaster/Bombers are holding tickets back.

Sell about 500 tickets a day, including Sunday morning/early afternoon and the team and they can just call it a sellout.

Not gonna be a sell-out, lots of upper deck seats left. But it will not matter, IG field has been rocking this year, so even without, it will be a tough place to play. Fair weather fans are just that, fair weather.
What happened to the great Rider fans after Labour Day?  There were some beautiful nights for football, yet the stadium was close to just 2/3 full.  That's not fair weather, that's quitting on your team.

There?s not a lot of tickets left.
Considering the weather, it should be a great crowd.

apparently they were holding back some tickets so there is probably around 2500 tickets left so yeah it won't sell out.  Neither did last year's game though which had 31,000

It will be the same crowd size as last years game. The Blue Bombers will make a good chunk of change yet again.

Yup all the upper deck corners have magically appeared as unsold.

They want people to buy the expensive seats first.

Then right before the game they market the cheap seats for the last minute push for those on the fence.
My wife is amazing!
