Crazy stat: For as good as the Stamps were every year, Mitchell only won 2 Grey Cups. Collaros has a chance to win 3 in under 3 seasons with the Bombers.

Ya, but I still found it incredibly tedious and boring that nearly every year the GC was <east team> vs CGY.  That's why so many of us cheered and jeered so much when CGY would choke at the last second and lose!

I sure hope WPG isn't becoming that CGY replacement where the rest of Canada is cheering for us to choke!!  If we do 3-peat, from a CFL-wide perspective, it might be good if we don't make it back a 4th time.  From my perspective I want to 10-peat, but we do have to think about the CFL's overall health.

Went to the Blue bombers store today got a very nice winter coat. $230 not bad! Also renewed my now 2 season tickets for next year.

I know which coat you are talking about.  I was eyeing that after last game.  It is niiiiiiiiice, really niiiiice!  Bombers really hit a homerun touchdown with that design.  But not exactly cheap; I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

The Bombers are already Cgy's replacement. Fans in other cities want to see us fail. I used to say my two favourite teams were the Bombers and whoever was playing Calgary.

But are we really that hated yet?  I didn't hate CGY/BLM after just 3 years of GC appearances.  I'm pretty sure it took longer than that.  Also, CGY got the extra hate from all of Bo's cocky mouth-spewing.  Zach is eminently likeable and even (some) SSK fans admit to a soft spot for him.  And he's now been on 4 teams to have fans from.  (I won't even mention annoying little Dickenson The Greater...)

But if we win it this year and then look great next year, that might start getting other teams hostile.

Yes, we really are that hated. We've been the best team in the league for the last 2 years. Listen to TSN when we lose. They love it and I expect most teams fans do too.

Agreed true hate is developed over longer than a mere 2 going in 3 year of dominance. I don?t witness the hate in Regina in the many times I have been there for in person games.

I think we?re definitely the least favourite

I have nothing against the Tampa Bay Lightning, but I rooted against them all last year. No one wants to see the same team win multiple times.

I was at K-Sport in Kenora this morning dropping my boat off for winterizing. A guy standing at the service desk says to me, time for someone else won the GC. Well after 29 years without a GC, 1 or 2 more would be nice. He said boring. If you're not a Bomber fan it's boring, if you're a Bomber fan it's nice to ride this as long as we can.

Well, they may be bored with the winning.  But they can't be bored with that 2021 GC!  Wow, what a game for all fans.  WPG claws back to win in OT.  The only recent GCs I found more entertaining were the ones where CGY chokes at the last second and Bo finds out what kind of team he is.  Those are priceless.
