On the CKRM Rider Radio web site in the after-after game show, Nik Lewis is guest hosting and he dropped a F bomb live on all of Sask!! That's gonna get some letters written...

Why drop an F bomb on live radio. Lewis never was the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Yikes that could be end of his media career. To bad I really like the guy and I am sure he has takes on the game.

Good question. He said he was getting emotional. They all laughed it off. Joked about it later, some dude called or texted to say he didn't think it was going to be an R-rated show.

I really like what Rider nation does with their radio stuff. I've been listening to it a lot lately, basically every postgame 2-3 hours for a few weeks now. They have a short-ish 45-60 min post-game show like CJOB does, but then they cut over to another panel and have another 1-3 hours! Call-ins, chat with players, banter, etc.

It's awesome. Why can't WPG have that?? I hate how at IGF, after I get off the field and finish the 1.5k walk to my car, that they are always wrapping up the postgame and I only get like 3 mins of show before CJOB cuts over to something useless. SSK caters to their fan base and have enough show to keep listeners tuned in for the entire drive back to Saskatoon and maybe even Prince Albert! Well past midnight!

And that lady they have hosting is superb. Voice smooth as butter, and a great attitude and personality. Reminds me a lot of CBC's Patti Schmidt from back in the day (the only other radio I ever listened to, really). (10 points for anyone who recognizes that name.)

O would be all over that if we had that! CJOB sucks in a way. I guess we have Bauming and Schnitz but I can?t watch that on my phone but is an option.

I don't get why CJOB rushes off the broadcast, to goto a totally vanilla program.

That post game, post game call-in should be a huge money maker with a ton of vested interest customers.
TSN and CJOB are trying to cater to a younger audience who doesnt listen to their stations anymore. And **** that BOB Irving! Get yo *** back doing play-by-play!

Ya you would think CJOB would want to milk the ready audience they have after each game. Surely there are a lot of fans still driving home when they finish the post-game show? And hey, why not play the post-game show over the intercom in the buses for the park & ride?

Some would say the SSK fans are more rabid and loyal, but look at the attendance thread to see that WPG outdid SSK this year! So there's not an audience for these shows? Hire an after-after-game crew and give us another 1-2 hours CJOB! Heck, snipe that Pondacelli lady from CKRM Regina because I'm pretty sure she said she's from Winnipeg!
