Lapo back on the panel!! I'll admit, that had me kinda shocked.

Forde & Ferguson as the Muppets box pundits? Hahaha. Not bad!

I'm 6 hours behind on PVR, so I'll be way behind on the thread.

I'm always secretly rooting for Dom Davis, whether in OTT or MTL. Davis doing well early in the MTL game. Is Spieker going to be the fantasy vulture of the day?

Dom's problem has always been his head, not his arm. If he can fix the brain problem he could be very good. We'll see if it's improved over 2023 or not. Might be his last shot at showing that he might be able to be a #1. Regardless, he'll make a good #2 for a few more years.

TOR is resting basically the entire team. Interesting contrast to how WPG set its roster for the last game (as both have a 1st round bye).

I am sure the Chumps are calling a very vanilla offensive scheme but Maier and company, minus the Stevens TD run, look poor.

I decided to temporarily pass on the earlier/East games and go straight to the CGY game since that seems to be what you all are watching

I'm reading the Riderfans forum synchronized with the PVR so I can bask in the tears. Man 1st Q stats for SSK are horrific... like halloween scary.

No one watched/watching any of these games today? No comments on the East games? We could see HAM or MTL in the GC... or TOR, but their game today really shows us nothing worthwhile.

After I'm done this pretty pathetic SSK game I'll be going back to the East games. Not looking at results anywhere until done... I wonder how the pickems will shake out?!

Weather far too nice to be inside watching TV today. Beautiful weather and great fishing again today. Did catch some of the Calgary game tonight.

Kind of a nice send-off for BLM. It will be interesting if Maier gets injured and BLM has to come in to save the post-season.

Other than that, it's pretty clear by everyone's body language that it's already been decided BLM is not a Stamp next year. I still don't think BLM dresses in another color. I think he goes to work for TSN. You need to know when to quit.

TSN announced SSK now holds the CFL all-time record for most sacks in a season. Hahahaha

This might help save Cody's bacon. He's a mediocre #1b at best, but you need to pin some of that lack of a deep ball on that horrific OL. Fine stunk just as bad, if not worse.

I wonder if Dickenson The Lesser made a bad mistake starting Fine these last few games. Hear me out. If CD starts Cody all the way to the end, he can pin the whole season on Cody and they can burn the scapegoat. CD keeps his job. But now it's clear the whole O is broken. No one will succeed on that O. That means the problem is higher up: HC and (probably) GM. This now gives the Prez ammo to fire both.

But RIderforums is saying OD/CD are under contract for '23, so firing them is going to really, really kill them on the cap. No money left for anyone else. Maybe this coaches cap isn't such a hot idea when you're a struggling team. Funny, the league's instituted some pretty good coach/GM retention but they haven't done much to help with player retention! Fans care about the latter, and not a whit about the former.

MTL@TOR game, TSN shows "most Canadian receiving yards" at 4Q12:08 and they totally shaft Demski!! At that moment Demski would be #3, but they left him off the list completely! Had Woli on at 471Y. Demski had 772 on the year.

Gittens and KSB did beat Demski on the year, but I'd say Demski was more dynamic, more TDs, and more fun to watch.
