On defence the Bombers have been moving around a bunch of players in the secondary and LB corps. At this point I think Parker has moved to DHB from CB. He's played 3 different positions and has gotten better every game.

SECONDARY:

I'm not sure if Holm is actually injured but I'm not sure what this means for him with Parker moving inside. Or does Holm return and Parker move back to  CB?

So who is most probable to start at CB where Parker used to line up? Which of Lawrence, Holm or Ford are going to see the most work there? I thought Lawrence looked fine in his 1st game but then they moved him to 1 game IR. Is he actually injured? Ford looked very good this week but it was also only 1 game.

LB's:

This is even more of a question. Bighill has been moved or rotated more frequently. This could quite likely continue in the playoffs? I don't know that this is either bad or good. It has been interesting musical chairs at each LB spot. Darby has been a good addition.

At least our DL looks what we expected with Jeffcoat healthy again.

Ford looked good in the previous game, but can't see them using such a raw rookie in a playoff game, I'm stilling hoping for Houston to solve all problems.  Don't know what they're doing with Lawrence but I wouldn't bet he's starting next game unless he has an outstanding week of practice.

As for the LB's not many options but to roll with Bighill, Clements and Darby, with Gauthier subbing in on short yardage running plays.

Why do the Bombers put out an injury report when they are not playing this week?  I see that Schoen is on it for the first time (knee) limited on practice on Friday.  Hopefully Demski isn't out too long as well.

The Bombers started practicing again, so I guess they felt they should put out a report.

Tiger

Regardless of who we face they are two teams that can beat us even though we are the better team.

BC has the Rourke factor which we are trying to figure out.  That said if he is not 100% or Adams plays we have an advantage and only we can beat ourselves.

Calgary is like us and built for the playoffs. You can have a great team and record but not built for playoffs.  Key is the run game for the cold weather and a good back up QB.  While Dickensian and Huffnagel are the masters of pass the have a good OL and some great running backs. They
Also have the best back up QB in the league, BLM. That said the bombers have the same build with OL, RB and back up QB.  Maybe Brown is not as good as BLM but we also have prokup who is a good change up and if he plays like last have not far behind brown.

The WDF is almost like the grey cup with the grey cup being a trap game!

Lincoln Locomotive

The biggest factor in our WF game is how we react to adversity in a one and done game.   This team knows how to win and can never be counted out when down late in games.    Regardless of who we face, it usually comes down to one or two plays in any game that determines the result.   We have the players that can rise to the occasion....like Zach, Adam, Willie, Dalton, Bryan, Jackson, Greg and Dietrich.
That being said we have the crowd and home field advantage and I like our chances in any game be it a shoot out or a tight defensive battle.

O'Shea said today's time allowed the players to sleep in a bit.

For tomorrow they gain an hour with the time change and it allows the players to watch the semis.

Lions coming to town!!!!

Looks like it. It is the opponent of choice if you ask me. These survived a very physical lashing against Stumps.

He gotta be as close to 100% ready as possible this time of year. Health, weather, experiences, game plan looks to be stellar. I am sure MOS and Buck will have a few wrinkles up there sleeve.

BC got even further banged up, thank you Calgary for playing em tough.

Yes, it will be a totally different game then playing in the dome. We will have to play smart discipline ball. Limiting the turnover will also be key. No Hansen, Houston, Wilson, or Taylor. ND10 back at practice on Sunday, but still no DS83.

Demerio Houston, arguably Winnipeg's best DB this season - next to Deatrick Nichols, of course - is edging himself back and towards a return for the playoffs. #Bombers
