While standings are not impacted by this game, a win would go a long way to making a statement to the Lions should they make it to the western final.  The 1 an 0 will remain the mentality of this team.

Again, there will be many changes to the lineup with starters returning the game not the least of which are Greg Ellingson, Jackson Jeffcoat and Drew Wolitarsky.

In: #1 Nichols, #2 Ellingson, #23 Hallett, Noah, #51 Hardrick, #53 Neufeld, #66 Bryant, #82 Wolitarsky, #94 Jeffcoat

Out: #10 Demski, #15 Cooper, #31 Holm, #32 Burtenshaw, #46 Lawrence, #50 Witt, #55 Lofton, #67 Kolankowski

With Lofton and Witt out, it looks like it will be our starting OL most of the game.

weird. I posted the depth charts earlier and the thread was gone.

I would like to see this as a sort of "Statement Game" at least for the 1/2 half. Here is what you will see in the final if you make it back to the Peg for the Western Final etc. Then in the 2nd half sit down some of our folks to prevent injury etc.

I think neither team will show anything unusual as you want to keep that for the finals should you meet. Winnipeg gets to rest after the game. BC has to plan on playing Calgary in the WSF (which will not be a cake walk). I actually see Calgary beating them under the dome. I would rather face BC in the WF vs Calgary however we should be able to handle either team.

Joe Pop. Our next inductee to the Ring of Honour at halftime. I am looking forward to that.

Yes, that will be nice.  Too bad it'll be one of the less-attended games this year.

Hey, what's this game's "theme"?  Is it pink day?

I'm glad Demski is resting, I was having fever dreams that he was going to get injured in this nothing game!

Wow, Woli inside slot!  I want to see what he can do there!  He's great as the wide-out 4th read, but how about 1st/2nd read?

Why not "on paper" "start" Brown but have Collaros play 1st Q?  Sucks to tarnish his insane W/L record on a nothing game when we switch to "meh" mode.

I'm fine with the D lineup.  Glad they made the Bighill WILL thing official, at least for this game.

Hey, Where's Wilson?  Darn I really wanted him back for the post-season.

Indeed!  Wish I could go but stuck in a meeting out of town so my tickets are with some good folks that will represent well I am sure.

I'll definitely catch the highlights after, hopefully much of the game on tv live if I am lucky.

Enjoy the atmosphere everyone!

I'm really looking forward to seeing how Ford plays at CB. If he's nearly as talented as his brother he may be a good one in the near future.

Ellingson and Woli back is great but I doubt they play beyond the 1st half.

IIRC, Grant has scored a return TD both games against the Lions in 2022. He also scored a return TD in the last game we played them in 2021 ( 45 - 0 game ).

So. 4th return TD in a row for Grant tonight against the Lions? Go Janarion. Opening Kick off to start the game would be nice. :)

NOTE: I wouldn't mind seeing McCrae on a few more returns tonight. A continuance of auditioning for his role in 2023. He's shown some skills as a receiver and RB. He's still a young player but I'd expect he could be a great multi use player on the team next year. I'm not suggesting Grant won't be back in 2023, just that McCrae has shown well in limited action as a rookie.
