Riders bloody sucked him dry though. Yes he is a bit of a whiner but no OL and bad leadership in coaching on up in that organization.

Real rough interview to give while still employed with a team who is cutting you real nice cheques though.

Interesting to say the least where he lands because he is right he will be wanted somewhere in this league.

Dude needs to shut his mouth though because it does not help his M.O. much at all.

Fajardo has always had a big mouth and hot temper similar to his OC Jason Maas. I would expect Maas to be gone this off-season.

I haven't seen any news he's being let go now or in the off-season.  Why is he talking like that?  Did BLM talk like that when he was benched??  Holy smokes, it's a bad look going into the critical games.  Ya, everyone knows they'll never make the playoffs, but as the leader you have to pretend that you think you will.

Maybe Dickenson The Lesser is just trying out Fine because he wants to see what he's got going into FA?  Kind of like what we did with McGuire last season.  Maybe he just wants Fajardo to take a break to "see the field" from the sidelines.  Who spends their interview jumping to conclusions?

Fajardo is shooting himself in the foot in SSK, that's for sure.

I always said he wasn't that good but got in trouble a bit for saying that here in '19 and '21.  But he's more than capable of leading a lower-tier team or being a very capable backup.  Behind our OL he might look a lot different.  Those 90-ish sacks he got this year aren't all on him.

I expect Fine to do even worse this week, so at least Cody will have that

What if this is a grand ploy by O'day to force Cody into a cheap contract for next year?  If you could cut Cody's salary down to $250k or $300k and then splurge in FA on OL to fix the more urgent problem, you'd be doing pretty good.

I mean, who else is going to QB SSK next year?  And, I mean, who else is going to hire Cody at $400k??

And who will do well behind that garbage OL if it doesn't get revamped?

If I was O'Day, I fire Maas, get better OL and IMP WR, sign Cody to $250k or have him walk, and think long and hard about firing Dickenson The Lesser.  I'd rather have Masoli, but he'll stay in OTT.  It's slim pickin's for decent CFL QBs going into this FA...

Calgary seems to always have the next QB waiting! Reminds me of when Burris was traded to Hamilton for Tate to start instead. Tate was really good before he got hurt, leaving BLM with the keys. When was the last time they had a below average QB???
