Edmonton isnt that bad. Toronto won by a few points.  Brown is a very good running back . bombers kind of need a back like that who makes yards when there is nothing . he had over 80 yards on 8 carries

12th in the league rushing. Averaging 42 yard a game. A major threat. Unstoppable beast! . Pardon the sarcasm.

He only got snaps once Harris went down. Sarcasm noted. I like his style.

Don?t be fooled by his stats, he is coming into his own now with each game he plays. Very under rated. He absolutely punishes would be tacklers.

Sorry, I'm unconvinced.  He has not - year over year - substantially improved his yards per carry.  In fact his yards per carry declined this year from his 2021 stats.  He may have potential but that is the best anyone can state for certainty right now.

Ugly weird throw by TO on kick off return

Ya... I'm confused.  TOR does an offside pass on a kick return, falls on turf incomplete, EDM recovers.  Ref says EDM ball because EDM can decline the offside pass penalty.

OK, great.

But it was an incomplete offside pass!  Isn't that handled like any incompletion?  Shouldn't it be TOR's ball at pass point or maybe a penalty 10 yards back?

I'm looking at Rule 6 Section 3 Offside pass stuff and it's just confusing me more!  What a jumble of bad English.  To me Article 2(b) applies and the Ruling clearly says "ball to team making offside pass, at point of origin of pass, or option".

Unless "or option" means recovering team can decline and keep possession??  Then that incomplete offside pass basically becomes a fumble.

Weird... insane how we hit these obscure rules a few times a week now.  Never used to be like that!

I mute this game, Dunigan never shuts up.
He likes that mike.

Love Duni!  My fave booth guy by far.  Tells it like it is, often forgets to be "PC", talks much better/freer when he's doing color (brain works better in football mode), interesting stories, etc.

Oulette is becoming a force, that's for sure.  But not quite there yet.  Some games they can shut him down completely.  He'll need to be more consistent.

He gets decent fantasy points most weeks, for not too much money (yet).

The main thing I have against Oulette is he's not NAT.  Like he said in his TSN short: everyone thinks he's NAT because of his name.  I sure thought he was NAT.

Since he's not NAT he can't just be good or very good: he has to be great.  Is he great?  Maybe getting there?  But it'll be tough to roster him once AH is healthy.  That's the price you pay for not having a NAT to backup a star NAT RB.

No, on all kickoffs the ball is live, players do not have to give the 5 yard halo, so when he threw the ball forward then incomplete, the play is not dead, Edm picked up the ball and were then down by contact. Therefore decline the penalty for the offside pass and gain possession of the ball, correct call was made.

Ya, but doesn't the control/possession by the (1st) returner change the status of the play so now regular fumble rules, etc take over?  Or do those rules never take over unless/until it's a play from scrimmage by that player's team?

What a bizarre situation.  The dude didn't even attempt to make it look like a lateral.

The ball is live until a player is down by contact or the ball goes out of bounds.
