If it were at the half moon I would go!  ;D  I miss that place - nothing like it here in Cow Town.

it is at RBC convention Center. Likely in the slightly smaller room.

Last time I went was 2002, Sellers last year here, when the Bombers had winning atmosphere then to.

My buddy collects all the Bomber promotional stuff.  What dinner is this.

As an aside, Wade should bring back the Game day Luncheon(actually the pre-game day.  (this would also be a great part time gig for Bob Irving)  If  Ed Tait were there, the content would be pretty good.
The luncheon featured a decent meal, the past game hi-lites with one of the coaches , usually the HC, and then the out of team's head coach or opponents broadcast voice.  It provided a little bit of insight.  I also seem to remember that a player also joined  each table.

Now logistics could work against this as the University students need the parking, in U lot, but maybe make it a dinner  time thing, naw... or hold it at a restaurant  or hotel site nearby I'm guessing zero hotels sell out a banquet hall for a luncheon.....or partner up with True-North.

It was very interesting, plus helped promote the alumni, got to meet the players, listen to professional broadcasters, and certainly would provide opportunities to bring TSN alumni to come in.  Flight to and from Toronto are inexpensive, and we could see Kate, Matt and Milt.

We had a few good teams in there. Kept my interest peaked.

I prefer this 2022 team though  ;D

Welp,it was beautiful

I felt lucky to chum it up with the likes of MOS, Demski, Oliveira, and especially Evan Holm who had the seat beside me. Real nice guy and boy am I cheering for him who has made a couple bigs plays this year.

Got well over 100 autographs spread amongst 2 GOLD MEMBER jerseys and th GC Champs hat from last year. All works of art now!

I Wish I could go every year. I was blessed to go this year. Saw Carol,I needed a new bag to carry my stuff, oh Carol had a bag for me. Wow she is the greatest!

Schoen and Demski look so young! You could tell they are close buddies.

Hansen had the best suit. ;D

All players were super friendly

Blue Bombers did it up top notch.

Awesome.  Thanks for the details.....and I watched a re-run of Batman and Robin.....what's the world coming to!  I heard Bob Irving' report on it saying the food was also fantastic.  Glad you had a great time, and that the organization put on a great show.

Sounds awesome Goldie.  Were you in full Goldmember, or civvie clothes?

Looks like Holm will be our guy at HB going into the stretch.  Did you get the impression he feels confident about this?  Every team in the playoffs is going to pick on that field side.

I think they'll stick with Holm or Parker but not both, it all depends if Lawrence is an improvement on either.  With Clements now practicing and Darby back, Kramdi is likely to lose his starting job within the next few games.

But we haven't seen anything of Lawrence.  They won't just start him for the WDF over Holm/Parker who now have several games starting and are improving.

It seems to me we're rolling with Holm/Parker simply because we don't have anyone else to do it, and they want Darby and Alexander at their traditional spots.  I'm disagree with these choices, but Hall knows better... I hope!

Lawrence did play 10 games with Hamilton last year and Hall made space and moved him from the PR to the roster, I would expect he's going to get a good look in the final two games before the playoffs.  It really depends if any of the vet. DB's return from injury in time for the playoffs and where they play Darby, but I think it's fairly safe to say we won't see two rookies playing beside each other come the WF.

Wait, we're talking Desmond Lawrence?  Uh, I must have missed the news of his signing and/or didn't make the connection that he was that Lawrence!  Too common a name.  He started a number of games this year too.  I didn't even know HAM got rid of him?

Was he outright released or did we trade?  Very odd I don't know this info.  Brain malfunction.

Given the new info, I'm not sure I'd start the guy in place of Holm (or Parker) in playoffs: new to the Hall system.  But no reason not to give him a good look in the next 2 games.

Hamilton recently cut him and he signed just after Darby, he was their nominee for best rookie last season, so he must have shown potential.

I think both Holm and Parker have been improving. We'll see how they do against the Lions ( even against Adams at QB ), due their good receivers. Of course they are still missing Burnham and Whitehead is in doubt to play this week. However it's a better test than against the Elks for a number of reasons.

Lawrence will probably get some real game reps. Whether he can or will replace one of them as a starter IDK. At worst it improves our depth and rotation for the duration.

Darby starting is going to take away some opportunities for the Lions offence. We might even see Clements return at WIL. Both of those situations are going to restrict the time and options for the Lions IMO. That should help our defence as an entity.

Also there is the Jeffcoat factor with increased pressure on the QB.

It's time for the DL to get some sacks and create forced errors etc etc.
