We're still starting 6 Canadians on offence and 2 on defence at the moment. In theory we could activate another import receiver if we have an injury to a Canadian receiver. An in game injury or rotation still falls to Grant. Any need to sit out a Canadian receiver due to an injury means Harrison or McKnight probably gets added.

That will be true until we have or decide to use an import at WIL. Clement has missed 4 game on the 1 game IR? Perhaps he's back after the bye. If not, if neither Cole or Cooper are better than Gauthier then we should be adding to the PR.

For that matter I'm still surprised Briggs isn't ahead of Gauthier on the depth chart??

Hardly see Briggs anymore other than on ST, he's better than Gauthier in pass coverage but not as a run stopper.

I'm surprised we haven't seen more Briggs as well.  Maybe healthy enough to play but not 100%? (Random guess)

Good point

We were being beaten more by the pass which is why I brought it up. I don't know if Clements could come back or they've just decided Gauthier is a better option than any of the import LB choices.

Not awesome depth, limited, as there is nobody currently standing behind BOO.  If he was injured now it would probably require some ratio manipulation to compensate for the lack of depth.

It would be nice to have someone to backup in a game (although Blue in BC already said we can simply use an import) but c?mon, 72 yards in our fifth receiver slot, as a Canadian, as a backup? That was really unexpected.

He's been waiting for his chance to shine and he hasn't disappointed. The chemistry with Collaros seems to be working well and he's another big target, slightly bigger than Woli. It appears he's willing to make a reception in traffic and uses his body and hands to protect the ball against the coverage.

All he needs is more experience but he's surrounded by good coaches and receivers to learn.

was impressed with his play and he made a nice TD catch in the Banjo Bowl.    We have some great rookies this season who have turned into stars.....ie Dalton Schoen in particular who is 3rd in receiving yardage and leads the league in TDs.   Now if we could only get Ellingson back we would have a formidable set of weapons for Zach to throw to.....Bailey has come on strong as of late and is showing his ability to score TDs with his  incredible effort.   Nic Demski is the most underrated and likely one of the keys to making our offence so multi dimensional.    Zach is leading all QBs in passing yardage and TDs for a reason!
