Stamps are missing about 5 starters. Lions just announced that Butler and Breaux won't be able to play either.

That would suggest the Stamps are impacted more severely losing Thurman, Robertson and Carey among others.

Beating the Lions was going to be difficult at the best of times.

As long as Huf and Dickenson are with the Stamps, I would never call them out.  Great combo.

Hopefully it is epic and Calgary wins to knock BC down a notch and keep safe distance from us!

This should be fun!

I'd like to see the Stamps pull out a win. Not quite sure what to expect after looking at injuries for both teams. Lions are the better team. Stamps MIGHT be more motivated at home but that's not a given.

Hopefully no more injuries on either team.

Should be a hard hitting game. Give the edge to the Stamps .  Should be a close game.

If it becomes a defensive battle Stamps may prevail, if it turns into a shootout, I'm betting on BC.

Stamps lost at least two key defensive starters in Thurman and Roberson. Lions lost their starting safety and Breaux.

Lions are the better team so could be a 14+ point win. Not sure if the Stamps can overcome the injuries on offence or defence either. They lost 3 starters on offence too.

Their depth chart doesn't show an injury to a receiver but it could be a game time decision or playing thru an injury.

Purifoy moves back to safety and a rookie with 1 game played starts at SAM in theory.

These changes will impact both sides of the ball for both teams. Who it favours I'm really not sure.

If the Stamps don't fear the Lions run game, then Rourke won't have the luxury of as much time to find and hit receivers. OTOH Stamps secondary including their SAM are out.

Could be some big plays. Should be entertaining.

Rourke looking very human against a good Calgary team.  They are missing a couple key players but getting it done.

Nice pick for the young safety there.

Rose is a beast for Calgary.  Whitehead has one through his hands on a nice deep shoot.

Rourke is headed back to planet earth

Kid is good but I'll say it again, the league is starting to figure out his weaknesses.

A good team can beat this kid.

Then he comes back and throws a beautiful TD boy he cam bounce back.

33 yard field goal. So simple. So routine. A thing of beauty.

Both teams made plays but also made a lot of mistakes that a team like the Blue Bombers exploit in nasty ways

Hoodie Doodie looks better than Rourke so far thus the lead

No run game for BC is not helping Rourke out as well

Poor play calling again by Dickenson. All they needed on theirlast drive was 5 yards to be in makable field goal range.

That rp penaty was iffy....seems like you can't even touch a qb anymore. don't know how Judge could have stopped on a dime

Exactly and it was done to give our biggest divisional competitor 2 points when we got none.  It was related and it hurt.

We re ALL thinking th same thing!! No sense brushing it aside and living in denial in fairy tale land, it is the dark cloud of doubt that hangs over our head moving ahead, and until we start consistently making kicks, it will remain there and rightfully so

Calgary imploded.

Note to Calgary DC: You can't use a 3 man rush that often when you drop 9 into coverage that can't cover.  Some very good passing by Rourke but you can't give him that much time to throw.

There were only a few times where the Stamps contested any pass after early in the 1st Q.

yeah he bounced back pretty well there in the 4th quarter....39 for 52 completed and 488 yards amassed with 2 TDs and 2 picks...oh and two rushing TDs!!   He is definitely on track for MOP....this "kid" is the real deal!   He's also 8th in rushing and has 7 rushing TDs in 8 games!  He's passing at an 80% completion rate and an efficiency rating of 127!!!  You  don't even need a ground attack with those stats and corp of receivers.   Our back to back games with them at the end of the regular season will likely determine who gets the bye to the western final and of course that's assuming both teams keep winning.
It was also ironic that they won on a short FG to win the game.....I'll leave it there.l.

Its makes much more sense to live in the present tense

Personally I didn't think of the Bombers when I watched the CFL games tonight.  Just enjoying the games today and yesterday is done.

Exactly, the whole point of the 3-4 defense is to rush a linebacker with the three dlinemen.
