So, the Argos are starting an injured Harris in the hopes they can stick it to the Bombers because of what happened during free agency?
Didn't know the Boatmen were so petty.
Anything to "motivate" I guess... AH33 vs AB4 is going to be interesting. Our Dline too. And Thompson coming downhill... we know the patented AH33 spinorama, we know AH33 needs to be wrapped up. If he's having his normal hammy issues, that spin move is going to hurt. And any time he gets tackled low, there's a chance of it getting hurt again, or him reacting to the hit. I remember more than once seeing him come out of a pile fuming mad... and the ref's aren't taking post tackle tantrums very well this year... Any other game, we are all wishing him well. But in this one, especially if he "wants to prove what Winnipeg missed out on" in a game, rather than a workout last off season, I have no sympathy for him, and hope none of our guys let up at all on him.

Harris will pull his hamstring today and be on the IR after today?s game, and prove that Father Time always wins

Apparently he also has a bad foot, along with hamstring issues.

Hamstring injuries early in the season never bode well for any player, especially one who is 35 and pushing the football longevity envelope. MOS I'm sure was thinking about him last night and I'm sure it was the same for AH33. One thing is for certain...there will be some serious leather popping tonight. Win or lose (preferably win) I hope it's a good game for both teams. TO has serious lack of fan support and Pinball is focused on winning at home.

So, MBT starts tonight according to the DC, but will the much hyped Chad Kelly get thrown into the fray? If MBT starts, how short a leash? First pick? First post sack blowup?

My prediction is AH blows his hamstring and is out, MBT has a miserable start and is yanked and we win 21-12

Chad Kelly looked horrible last game, I don't think they will be using him unless it goes into garbage time.

I hope AH doesn't have a good week this week, every other week of the regular season I hope he does....
T.O has talent and is at home after being embarrassed last week. We are down our starting center, on a already weak line (compared to previous years) Have not been able to establish a run game yet this year and are without Demski. This will in no way be an easy game to win.
On offence we need to win the LOS and get the run game going On defence we need to win the LOS and not let the T.O run game get going

Does anyone know why they scheduled it this way instead of having a Saturday doubleheader or a game yesterday?

Shut AH33 down like BC did. Hit him hard early and often. Lots of pressure on MBT.
We need to protect the ball. and stay away from the undisciplined penalties.

my guess BMO had something and/or didn't want to go against Jays games and other Canada Day festivities...likely wouldn't have mattered.

I read somewhere (maybe 3Down, but can't find it now) that they were also thinking about trying to boost viewership numbers on ESPN as it's July 4 down there.
