Also, have to take into account the movement of the hashmarks, making a WIL more of a SAM... closer to SAM than MIKE now...

That's the new "theory".  Jones said it, booth guys/panel say it, but some starting to question it?  I think the jury is still out.

One thing I have identified: teams are attacking the weak side a heck of a lot more now, both on the run and pass.  There are some drives where it's just constant weak side attack.

Not really sure why.... sure there's more room to work, but the wide side should also be more attractive now, too.  Unless the "theory" is correct and all these WILLs are not up to covering that bigger range?

I thought Clements was solid vs Toronto, so what we re looking for is depth in the event of further injuries. I would have went after Awe and moved him into the starters spot, but c est la vie. Coaches must think he can do the job, pray there?s no more injuries

Clements looked good but it was Toronto and Clements has never started again. Has to start at some point and he could be the next Wilson.

Awe is an immediate known quantity but we don't know if the Bombers even approached him.

Coaches watch players like Clements in practice and he may turn out to be exceptional.

Regardless, we do need depth and I'm not convinced Mack is a suitable fit to be the back up. I could be wrong. So lets see how things go.

It's not as bad as you're making it out to be.

Cadwallader would be fine as a third man up if needed, Gauthier and Marou could be used at WILL as easily as at MLB, Hansen could be used in an emergency too.

If Rutledge goes down, you can play around with the DBs if needed.
