I thought the crowd was not half bad considering the horrid forecast. It ended up being quite a Pleasant evening.

Schoen may get nominated for Bombers outstanding rookie candidate this year, but I think Donald Rutledge deserves it more, the added size and weight he brings to the D-backfield is going to make it difficult for Maston to ever get his job back.

Rutledge is playing very well. I think it's a little early to suggest Maston wouldn't get his job back but that's a nice luxury to have. If Rutledge continues his progress we could lose him to the NFL option clause. That's currently a bold projection after just 3 games. Just pointing it out that what happens for 2023 is anybody's guess.

Maston might be a big risk after consecutive injury regardless of how our SAM performs.

However I like what I've seen from Rutledge so far. Can't ask for too much more or project too far into the future.

The Good:

Zac throwing for 300
Brady in the second half.... some nice runs
The ?D? for 60 minutes
Pushing the ball down the field and using all receivers
Legs 100% on FGs

The Bad:

The coin toss
The Whiteout idea, tough to do with Blue seats
Suitors colour commentary.... again

The ugly:

Dane Evans as a full time starter

White out was good idea and seat color had no effect.

A more full stadium with no rain. Works better.

Expectation wise, I agree. But, I'm still a little disappointed in the turnout, all things considered. I think the magnitude of the event deserves better. That's just my view.

I don't think you could ask for better attendance on a day like yesterday.

I was incredibly disappointment with the crowd at the home opener, only 26k? That was sad.

The Good- Defense was strong and got stronger as game progressed
              - Success throwing deep
             -solid special teams play
The Bad--Demskis injury
             -weather delay
The Ugly-Some fans booing in the first half (really with the Bombers home record)Huh? Maybe wait until Collares loses a game at home

Small, wet crowd still affecting opponent O

Is it just me, or was it louder yesterday than week 1?  The crowd around me was rowdier, even though it was the same seats.  Maybe the "casual" fans turned out for week 1 but only the uber-fans were there for wet week 3?  Dunno.

Maybe the rain/wet makes the sound carry more?  Dunno that either.

The game started 30 minutes late so the crowd had more time to do some pregaming. Those thunder sticks make a lot of noise as well.
