Someone should pick this up after future games, but here is yesterday's game...
The Good
We found a way to win.
The D is shutting down the opposition in the 2nd half again.
The stellar play of Deatrick Nichols
The return of Jackson Jeffcoat
We are 2 and 0.
The Bad
Missed convert again.
Winston Rose needs to step up his game.
Too many passing yards allowed again.
Too much pressure, at times, on Zach
The Ugly
Disrespectful forum posters. Won't be tolerated again.

It's early in the season. There was not real useful film on what the Redblacks were going to do on either side of the ball. They had massive roster turnover and added some really good talent.
The good news is that we were still able to make necessary adjustments in the 2nd half of the game. That's become a hallmark for the defence.
On offence we're a different team from 2021 and not many starters played in pre season. Offences take a few games to get in sync.
The good news is that the new players: Ellingson, Schoen in particular are doing very well.
The bad news is that some 2021 players are not quite back up to form yet.

Emergence of JA and ND in the 4th
Jeffcoat is back

Masoli slinging the ball at will
OL still not up to standard
Took more penalties than normal
ZC was tossing the ball into double coverage.... a lot....
Ugly
Kicking game
Not crossing 20 points two games in a row - wont win many weeks

Good
We won.
Ellingson is #1 with a bullet and Schoen is looking promising.
Decent pressure on Massoli.
Bad
We gave up way too many yards way too easily and Rose was bad again.
Run game needs a lot of work.
Bailey took a stupid misconduct penalty.
Not convinced we addressed the problems from the previous week effectively.
The Ugly
GDT was full with a lot of garbage. I get that some people like jacking their post counts with dumb 1 liners and vague insults, but it was hovering below Area51 and Lyle type posts yesterday.

I like this list. Second effort of JA27. And the play of DS83 getting open deep twice. Bad: I would add losing MC59. CK67 filled in nicely, but I wouldn't want MC out to long. |

Bombers are 2-0
The running game picked up in the second half
Collaros started spreading the ball around the second half
The Bad
Defense still needs to gel
Giving up to many long bombs
The kicking game definitely needs to improve
The Ugly
Commentary during the game instead of during halftime or a break. I don't mind the commentary but show me the game that is actually playing!!!
