7th round could turn into a 5th depending on number of games played by Smith

Sounds like #Stampeders punter Cody Grace suffered an injury in practice today & could be out awhile. Was outstanding last season.

ELKS PICK UP A PAIR FROM ARGOS IN TRADE

EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks announced Sunday the club has acquired Americans Jalen Collins (DB) and Martez Ivey (OL) from the Toronto Argonauts in exchange for a sixth round pick in the 2023 CFL Draft.

Ivey made his CFL debut with the Argos last season, suiting up for one regular season game, against the Elks, before starting at right tackle for Toronto in the Eastern Final against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Only 2 QB's officially on the Elks roster. However Tre Ford is listed as a receiver and could in used an emergency play QB. As a Canadian they could have just listed him that way.

My bigger question is surrounds whether teams can or must carry 3 QB's. Edmonton is the 1st team to not list 3 on their depth chart.
