He's also 32 and has some wear and tear on his body. 7 seasons in the CFL and back to back Grey Cup wins is not the worst time to consider retirement.

Certainly he has valuable experience and leadership. Whether he wants to return was part of the thought. The fact he's been missing TC is a bit suspicious though.

I can't remember who but someone was a little critical of him last year when he rotated and comented they could see the drop-off from our other starters or depth players

Didn't know he was that old!

Well sure he's a drop off from Wilson at WIL but he made some very good plays in relief.

I think we have 9 draft choices to decide on and some of them are going to make the roster.  Need bigger rosters for a few more Canadian spots.
