WINNIPEG, MB., April 13, 2022 ? The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the team has signed American receiver Lucky Jackson.

Jackson (6-1, 190, Western Kentucky, July 17, 1997, in Lexington, KY) spent four seasons at Western Kentucky, becoming one of the best wideouts in school history. He recorded 94 receptions for 1,133 yards and four touchdowns in his senior season, while being named First Responder Bowl MVP after a 17 catch performance. For his collegiate career, his 209 catches stand second all-time and 2,680 yards are third, while his nine 100-yard receiving games are tied for second. He registered 13 touchdowns during four seasons at WKU.

Our first Lucky was better after he left.

Another good signing.  Can he run routes, learn our game and catch in traffic.  We shall see.

Our first Lucky was better after he left.

Mostly a function of being paired with 'slinger Reilly and Burnham taking all the double-teams.  It was actually brilliant, really.  But not enough to save their season.

I think him & Nunn have a good chance to take the 3rd American WR spot.
If they don't win a spot outright, I hope at least 1 takes a PR spot.

I am very interested in Dalton Schoen. Like his speed and size.

Hard to tell how imports adjust to the CFL game. Wider and longer field, yard off the ball etc. Could be players that adjust quickly or need to spend time on PR. I'd think Saunders is pencilled in on the 45 man roster at the moment although he could end up as a veteran DI.

Also expect another 3 - 4 receivers signed before TC and that might cause somebody to be released to make room.
