I do admire through the argos ability to get in front of free agency period, last year they did the same with Rogers and Richards...oddly enough with the Stamps then too.

Did he get traded to Ottawa? He wasn't a free agent until Feb 8th?? If he got traded, who went the other direction to Hamilton?

They've "agreed to terms".

It wont be official until the 8th.

But this surprises me.

It was put out there that Edmonton and Ottawa were both bidding and why would you go to Ottawa if you had an alterative?

Must have been a major salary difference.

Probably connection with the GM and away from heavy-competition in the West Division

Harris to BC and Streveler back in Blue and Gold.  Works for me.

I would say BC might have interest also and Edm might turn their eyes to Strevy now.

Then Arbuckle here would be fine, or Harris as the #2.  Have a feeling Strevy is back on a one year deal though.

Maybe that is where the Harris money is going?

Edmonton has Arbuckle, Cornelius and Prukop that would all be upgrades at backup QB for us. They're already going to have to sign one to the PR if they want to keep all 3 and if they add another QB there's going to be some decent guys shaking loose...

If Strevy is not coming back, I would like Cornelius as a backup. The guy can sling it and can run also. He would fit the role Strevy was doing when he was here.

Because Chris Jones doesn't care about his offence and you will get almost zero support from him.

Arbuckle will be their guy. They aren't bringing anyone in. Jones will spend all his time and craft on building his defence.
