Imagine Harris's face after he sees the cost of living in Toronto. Whatever extra money he is getting won't be enough to pay for the extra expenses. Perhaps he likes playing in front of an empty stadium in Toronto... dunno what he was thinking unless the Bombers didn't want him back and didn't bother to even offer him a reasonable contract.

Andrew Harris is dead to me until he signs the 1 day contract to retire as a Bomber. Grin

I'd guess a promise of playing time went into the contracts with BO & JA.
Only so much ball to go around.
There was probably a chance awhile ago to work something out, but once the other 2 signed the writing was on the wall.

Depending on how well and long he plays in Toronto, and unless that is many years and many GC's in double blue,  I don't think there is any question that he will retire a Bomber.

John Hodge@JohnDHodge

Winnipeg visits Toronto in Week 4, however Toronto does NOT visit Winnipeg this year.

That means we won't see Andrew Harris return to IG Field in 2022. What a shame.

Well, good news, unless the Argos win the east and get to the GC, AN33 only faces us once... (or some silly crossover nonsense)

Saturday July 23rd, come over to Regina and watch Harris play the Riders.

Maybe he will hit 10,000 yards and you can see it in person!

If Harris plays or doesn't play like he did last season, I wonder who will want to go watch a game with Riders and Argos.

I would have thought that would have played into AH s plan, less wear and tear on the body. If he?s carrying the load in Toronto, he s going to get hurt for sure, heck he got hurt this year and nobody touched him. I thought we could have used him on passing downs as a blocker and check down receiver. Oh well, we ll see how this plays out

Sad to see him go but I understand the decision. Good luck in Toronto for a successful and injury free year.

Thanks for our 2 Grey Cup wins in which you played a significant role.

You'll be remembered.

Harris was always good at catching the ball as well. He will be missed if Oliviera doesn't do anything well.
