I can agree with that, especially considering both Charlie & Milt were lifelong Bombers.
I'll edit that part out.

Roberts was traded to BC for Joe Smith and crossed 10k in rushing yards as a Lion iirc.

Ha!  I got a Smith jersey for Xmas that year.  Everyone asked me who he was  Cheesy

Really not looking good for AH back in B&G.  Sucks.  Will be interesting to see who offers him what he wants.

I'm trying to keep track of some of the many milestones Harris has accomplished in his career.

He currently has 9661 rushing yards, which is the most by a Canadian ever. 10K yards is quite the milestone, and almost a given. He needs only 624 to pass Charlie Roberts for 5th all time.

He currently has 5223 rec yards, which as far as I can tell is the most ever by any RB.  That is really impressive.

Combined he has 14,884 all purp yards, only needing 324 to pass Stegall for and move into 4th alltime.
**Question:  Do PR & KR count as APY?  If so we can add another 1276 yards to his total**

He is a 3X Grey Cup Champ, twice as MVC, 1X as MVP and the only player ever to win both awards the same year.
He led the league in rushing from 2017-2020, 3 straight years and likely would have been 5 straight years if there were no lockout or injury lastyear.
He is a 5 time CFL All Star.
He was the 2017 CFL MOC, and should have been in 2019 as well.
**If I have any stats wrong, can someone please correct?**

Most importantly the prodigal son came back home, put the team on his shoulders and got us a Cup after a loooong drought. That 2019 GC performance was flat out fantastic and will have a special place to any WPG sports fan.

Andrew, I'm putting out a plea to you for all Blue Bomber fans:  Please sign the deal, and come back for another year!  Break these records as a BB, and let us celebrate all your achievements together!  If you're going to pass 2 Bomber legends on the alltime lists, you better do it in B&G! This is where you belong!  And whatever happens, you better not sign with the Riders!  Grin

yes you do add in all return yards for all-purpose yards as well.

He just said he could see it happening, not that it's likely.

Depends on how they fill Lawler and Stove's position or even if Darvin Adams does not end up back with the Blue. If they go with some cheaper newbies or good deals from free agency, they could afford to keep Harris probably although he still has to agree to a reduced role. One last kick at the can and 3-peat!! If he still believes he can be a full time starter elsewhere, then he can check it out come tomorrow if he has not heard nothing even to now.

I am actually afraid for Andrew Harris.......is his knee, calf, ankle, melon ok?
If so, he's still the number one back in the league.  How about a 2000 yd season.? Just over 100 yards a game.  It's a lot, but with the O line as dominant as it is......he doesn't get touched until after five yards.  He breaks a couple for over ten, and the usual one for twenty five!!! He could do it.

A sad day. Thank you Andrew.

Guess I'm asking for a new jersey for my birthday this spring.

Not surprised. A super fan favorite and let's get him up on the ring of honor when the time is right but it was the right football decision.

Bombers thinking long term, setting themselves up for the future.

Ah33 money will help us sign a couple of players.

I support the move to let Harris sign elsewhere.

Walters invested his money wisely, may not be a fan friendly move, but a good management move.
