That gives Niku another game & hopefully he excels
It will be interesting if Perrault goes to 2nd line, or does Copp or maybe Harkins

lol, feels like another eternity since we played that first game. Super condensed schedule and we get a 4 day break?

The injuries suck but I'm excited to see how the replacements fare.

Go JETS GO!

Go JETS GO!

A couple of goals on the PP would have helped. Helly is playing very well.

We sure miss a hard shooter from the point.  The threat would be a real value

Brossoit gets the start with Laine again in the Press Box
Expect to see juggling on the lines. Wandering if Ehlers goes back to Scheif & Wheels
..... or does Copp start where he left off. Thought Conner, Ehlers with Stastny took it to the Leafs in 3rd.

Slow start again. Lucky to one back before the end of the period. Hope we get going in the 2nd. period. PP looked better, unlucky KC81.

Slow start, but a nice finish.

1- Stanley has to stay. Just his size and toughness. Threw BT7 off him with no effort.
2- Nice to see 26,55,81 back together.
3- A win with LB in net is always a plus.
4- Niku has to go.

So,

2021 Jets are 2-1, yet have led exactly zero seconds in their first three games.  No leads, nada.  Both victories were "skate off" OT wins, both victories came on come from behind efforts.

Not complaining, but this is really not the way yo want to be 2-1... I know, they don't ask how you win, just how many... but still...

2-1 is 2-1 anyway you slice it. For me this is still TC. Give it another 3-4 games. It will also help to get LP29, Demelo, and Poolman back into the line up. KC81 is on fire, Niku on the other hand, sucks.

I will take the two points and run away. Agree aards that it's not sustainable but there is something to be said about a team that can come from behind and win outright and never actually have a lead. For years we were that team that loses every time we are down a goal with a period to go. Having this ability gives me hope. Once the rust wears off we will be able to dominate some nights and not look back.

Remarkable how this exactly mirrored the Calgary game in terms of score. Is it the Tkachuk bros effect? lol

Agree, but I loved when Stanley man handle BT7. At 6-7" 245 he's a big boy.

Oh for sure. Many (including myself) were very skeptical of Stanley's development but he's proving himself out there. He's got size and he's using it. If he has other weaknesses, make the coach forget about them by being physical!

LP29 had a brief skate today and left again early. Not firing the puck like he can.

on Saturday I suspect Poolman & Demelo will draw in & unless there is an injury on Thursday, Stanley will go to the sidelines, as of course will Niku (Yay).

Interesting about not getting a lead so far.
Of Note: our PK is 3rd last for proficiency, our Face off WON % of 45.6%,  if not for Stastny's real good 54%,  would be truly pathetic
