It?s better than I thought it would be and no doubt players will be signed by the nfl, just like the occasional cfl player is signed

Yeah, even the AAFL had over 30 players go on to sign with NFL teams. 8 made 53 rosters at the beginning of the season and 9 made practice rosters. (Similar numbers to CFL players signing in the NFL). Also with the new NFL CBA there will be more opportunities to sign XFL players as there will be 2 more practice roster spots per team.

Anyone heard of any XFL players with enough talent to be signed by the NFL is what you really should be asking. That was some pretty brutal football.

There have been some suggestions about maybe a 1/2 dozen prominent names. I expect it will be somewhat similar to when the AAF tanked. Some will be TC fodder as well. NFL roster size is increasing a bit which helps. If the season does get going we may see a few show up at TC camps in the CFL as well.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nelson_Sprucehttps://theramswire.usatoday.com/2020/02/17/xfl-nelson-spruce-todd-gurley-wildcats/Gurley called Spruce his ?little brother,? which Spruce was quick to correct. ?I?m older than Todd,? Spruce said. ?You are?? Gurley asked. ?He?s still my little brother.? Spruce said he ?taught Todd how to catch back in the day,? which Gurley agreed with. ?He did. He actually did. That?s why I became the player I became and a great teammate, being with this guy. Super proud of him.?

Spruce can't stay healthy for more than a couple games his entire career. I highly doubt anyone wants him.

Hmmm... Dean was on the riders PR last year, but signs with us? Did he get just enough of the CFL experience to know what's what?
