As per Darren Cameron;
#Bombers announce the team has agreed to terms on a one-year extension with all-star left tackle Stanley Bryant. A pending free agent, a two-time Grey Cup champion & one of the most dominant lineman in team history returns for his sixth season in Blue and Gold.  #FortheW

Beautiful.

Two very good and important re-signings in the last 2 days. Now we just need to get a QB under contract.

I don't think there was ever any chance that big Stan was not going to sign here, but it's always nice when it's official.

I think most of us knew he was going to be playing in Winnipeg this year. Bryant always takes a little time before signing his one year deals.

BOMBERS ADD TWO TO ROSTER

WINNIPEG, MB., January 20, 2020 -   The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has signed American defensive end Justin Alexandre and American linebacker Dylan Donahue.

In August 2019 Alexandre saw action against the New York Giants in his first NFL preseason game.

BOMBERS RE-SIGN DEFENSIVE BACK NICK TAYLOR AND ADD DEFENSIVE END ALEX MCCALISTER

WINNIPEG, MB., January 20, 2020 -  The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has re-signed pending free agent defensive back Nick Taylor, and added American defensive end Alex McCalister.

Taylor (5-10, 165, Florida International, March 27, 1988, Hollywood, FL) started seven games, including all three playoff contests, with Winnipeg in 2019 after being added to the club?s practice roster in early August. He recorded 12 defensive tackles and one interception (returned for a touchdown) during that time. Taylor also spent part of 2019 with Edmonton, playing in three games with the Eskimos, and was a member of the REDBLACKS from 2016-2017.

McCalister (6?6, 240, Florida, October 17, 1993 in Fort Stewart, GA.) spent parts of the 2019 season with Winnipeg, playing in one game. McCalister played three seasons for the Florida Gators, tallying 52 total tackles, 18.5 tackles for a loss, 12.5 sacks and two forced fumbles in 27 games. McCalister was selected in the 7th round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles and spent time on the Eagles practice squad during the 2017 season. He also spent time with the Washington Redskins.

Niiiice?.I was really hoping we would re-sign McAlister. He reminds me of a young Willie Jefferson. If Willie leaves McAlister will be good competition for his spot.

They need 3 solid DE's, so I think Roh is still in the mix unless Hansen shows he's capable of handling full rotation.

Jefferson, too. No PR eligibility so we will know his status before others like Rose and Sayles, I believe.

I think so too. Even our recruitment thus far has been pretty DE heavy. I think McAlister is someone the Bombers really wanted to keep last year but we were too deep. This year he will be in the mix and quite likely that Roh is out.
