I'm really displeased with my play and results in Week 7. Trying for more upside potential on Tuesday I switched from Weston Dressler and the Eskimos defence to William Powell. Then late Thursday afternoon I dropped William Powell (very inconsistent results) and Brad Sinopoli to add Andrew Harris and Darvin Adams. Sticking with Brad Sinopoli, Weston Dressler and the Eskimos Defence would have gotten me a lot more points.

Then I didn't see that Don Jackson had been scratched from the Stampeders' roster three hours before game time. Of course I can't be on the stupid computer 24/7, but DRAT!

I just made too many poor decisions this past week, that's all.

Oops. I left Toliver in my lineup last week. Fortunately, I had Nic Demski and managed to get 74.3 points out of it, but not a good week.

If I had stuck with my original picks and not had the bright idea to juggle my roster a few hours before kick-off on Thursday I would have had my best week, instead I moved away from a Bomber heavy roster and diversified... Dropped Demski, added Harris and dumped the Bomber D  ... went from a week 5 score of 124.7 to a miserable 69.9 in week 7.

That's a stunning 54.8 point drop! Aggghhhh!!!!



In six of the first seven weeks, I've ended up noticeably hurting my results by switching from the players I'd initially selected on Monday. This week therefore I've resolved not to dick with my initial roster barring disaster, e.g. a player comes up lame at practice and can't play.

Interesting to see other peoples strategies, not a criticism of your picks... just my thoughts when I see them.

Not sure Masoli will make it to the 4th quarter, but I do like the Hamilton D pick. Its going to be an interesting match-up to watch, who learned the most about the other? The Hamilton D or Johnny Football from lining up opposite each other for a few weeks...

I've seen no indication anywhere that A.Bowman is starting in MTL this week.  I can't find a GD depth chart for MTL yet, and I see no news articles on him yet?  Have you found any news that Bowman is for sure starting?  Link?

If Bowman starts, he's a good cheap choice as JM has to throw it to someone.

Yep, I got rid of Demski when I found a way to afford both Adams and Dressler... whoops. Had to do something stupid to make up for the great score I had the previous week.

He's not starting.

B.J. Cunningham is the only somewhat-reliable one I think. For a cheap flyer, maybe T.J. Graham has a chance. He flashed at times last year, lots of speed, but dropped a few balls too. Was stuck on the 6-game to start the year. I think he's more of a sprinter than a receiver, but like you say, Manziel has to throw it to someone, and the fact that Montreal kept him around and immediately re-inserted him as a starter when his 6 games was up says they're probably high on him.

I wondered if anybody was going to pick Bethel Thompson, that worked out pretty darn good!

I'm still a little miffed at picking Martese Jackson, well not miffed at picking him, I'm miffed at the way they allocate points... dude has 231 return yards and it only yields 9.2 points! Compared to Brad Sinopoli who posts 7 receptions for 89 yards and a TD... gets me 21.9 points?

I'm miffed because he came so close twice to getting into the end zone but was denied the six points and so were all of us Fantasy players with Martese on our rosters! So near and yet so far....
