If they are going to fire assistant coaches they might want to consider getting rid of Tony Missick DB coach or Glen Young LB coach first, these are the fall guys for keeping Hall.

Young, for sure, did not have his guys playing well.

The good Lord himself couldn't get our LB playing well, we need more talent at this position. We need to to our and find us an Awe or 2!!! BC found him, they're out there, we can't stay status quo at LB. we need playmakers /game changers, not pluggers.

Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming
#Bombers add three National players, all previously with the team; OL Cody Speller, S Abu Conteh, and WR/long-snapper Brendon Thera-Plamondon.

December 12, 2017 - The CFL's Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman, Stanley Bryant, has agreed to terms on a new two-year deal with Winnipeg. Bryant was set to be a free agent in February. https://www.bluebombers.com/2017/12/12/bombers-agree-terms-tackle-stanley-bryant/Bryant, 31, received a two-year deal worth upwards of $200,000 per season, including bonuses, according to league sources. He made $180,000 last season with the Blue and Gold, but with the new deal, the Goldsboro, N.C., native is now among the highest-paid American offensive linemen in the CFL. The compensation resembles the contract for Derek Dennis, who signed a three-year commitment with the Saskatchewan Roughriders this year after a breakout season with Calgary that included winning the CFL's most outstanding offensive lineman award. Dennis is expected to make close to $190,000 in each of the final two seasons of his contract. https://www.winnipegfreepress.com/sports/football/bombers/bombers-sign-bryant-for-two-more-years-463650483.html

Is this from a source or just a guess?

I don?t see how Dennis needing to take a pay cut from his $190k salary has anything to do with the Bombers winning a Grey Cup
