Jets are destroying the Wild and yet only have a 1 goal lead...dubnyk is stoning them again. 

The hits we are laying on them are amazing.

Honestly blue or die I thought it had something to do a bit with being in the north(compared to other teams), An the snow etc etc as well....

...and I will admit...that I am still bitter about Winnipeg not supporting the jets enough the first time to keep them around. So the white out looks cheap to me.....it's a new team so come up with some new ideas...

Getting to be ancient history already.  Time to get over it and enjoy what we have.  I am almost 50 so I know all about Jets 1.0.  There were lots of reasons the team left - no need to keep rehashing it and letting that spoil what we have now.  Nothing cheap about the white out - it?s what the fans want...you can?t bash fans for not supporting the old jets then bash them for having fun and supporting this team.

And sorry, but yes a person could bash fans for not supporting the team and letting it die.....and then just because the new team gets some playoff games it's all good again......that would be hypocritical would it not ?

I do not include the newest generation of fans in my comments though, those that were not a part of it the first time. They are excused.

Fans have been supporting the team since it returned- playoffs or not.  You are not making sense in any of this.

Only weakness ..... was how poorly, the Jets usual reliable faceoff performers, statistically got beat badly.

The shots on goal through 2 games are absolutely ridiculous!  Jets are out-shooting Wild 83 - 37 so far!!

Well fair enough if you feel that way but like others have said, you shouldn't go through life being bitter about all that stuff. I'm a "new generation" of fan (although I'm not that young, but was pretty young when the Jets 1.0 left) but I'm not bitter about what happened. Fan support, as I understand, was only a small part of why the team left. But that doesn't even matter because what we have now is amazing. My dad said this is even more fun than the WHA games because the competition, size of the league and parity make getting to the show such a huge deal. There's room on the wagon so jump on!

I have been to several regular season Jets games in St. Paul and our fans travel well.  The "True North!" during the anthem is almost as loud in St. Paul as it is here.  I am hoping we dominate a large portion of Xcel for the next 2 games.

I m thinking the series will turn ugly in minny , especially if we get up a couple of goals early.

The Wild were clearly outclassed in last nights game, they spent the entire game chasing the Jets and trying to get the puck.

Their offense is hopeless. 14 shots or whatever they had, is a good period but our aren?t going to win any hockey games getting 14 shots on goal

Jets are too fast and skilled for them. They just have to keep playing the way they are and not get lured into playing in a street fight. Buff, Myers and the big boys on our blue line will make them pay when they come into our zone.

Oh my gosh can Buff hit!!! You can?t tell me their forwards don?t take notice when he?s on the ice. He?s a Mac truck on skates!!!

Another thing is we can just keep rolling 4 lines and not have to worry about matching lines. It dont matter who they put out we can just keep rolling ours.

Minny haveing the last change in their building will not be an advatage for them. Our guys will just keep coming.

The Wild flew into Minny last night...Jets did not and are now looking at flying into Duluth and trying to drive into Minny or wait till flights are allowed into MSP..
