The Jets did just about everything they could to give away that game last night... And they still won. Says a lot about this team right now, IMO.

Morrissey could've been wearing the goat horns today after taking such a stupid penalty. Tanev's heroics saved the day!

I think Morrissey thought the guy he clobbered was the same guy to delivered that nasty hit on Scheifele. He was wrong.

Maurice's lost challenge ended up in a 5 on 3, which resulted in a goal against too.

Of course. But if not for Morrissey's very bad decision, there is no 5-minute major and the Bruins likely don't put up two to tie the game early in the third period.

I'm all for players looking out for their teammates but not at the expense of losing one's cool and taking dangerous runs at opponents, resulting in costly penalties. The Jets played into the Bruins' hands last night and it could've proven costly. Morrissey's penalty breathed new life into the visitors and that's not something you can afford to do, especially in the playoffs.

The claws came out yesterday. Morrissey might get a game or two. A bit of nasty goes a long way in April and May.

Kudos for Tanev scoring (even 1 goal was overdue) the Hattrick. Exciting 2 points earned.
Had no problem with PM challenging & felt it should have been NO goal. Morrissey should get a couple but may not due to his past tidy record.
If the Moose send a Dman to Chicago then it will be in anticipation of a suspension. Hope Trouba is not forced to come in a game or 2 earlier than PM wants.

No further discipline expected for Josh Morrissey boarding hit on Matt Grzelcyk from Bruins/Jets. Belief is that Grzelcyk made a quick turn to face the boards shortly before contact & put himself in a vulnerable position "immediately prior or simultaneously with the check"

40 of the Jets' victories go to Hellebuyck. His record is 40-11-9 so far this season.

He has 11 losses total...

But Pav's only has 7 losses this year...

No doubt that #37 has been the story this year. With the Hart talk centering on Wheels, and what he's done, how does Bucky not get some love? I don't think that we're near where we are if he doesn't have this standout season...
