NHL Discussion (Other than Jets)

WOWEE, such a great trade between the Leafs and Columbus

Marchenko then signed a huge extension while Knies goes to the Blue Jackets already covered for some years ahead

About a mere 10 minutes before I heard this deal was in the works
I was busy settling on some final Fantasy draft picks.
Was trying to add Marchenko or Batherson. Hummed and hawed a lot but it became a no brainer, on hearing of this, cuz I believe March will thrive with Matthews

I think marchenko will bring much needed offensive punch to Toronto's lineup, but come playoff time and you have to face the heavier teams, knees could handle the rough going with the likes of Bennett and the tachuck boys whereas marchenko is a softer player and will shy away from the rough stuff

Happy to see that Logan Stanley had gotten signed by
the Islanders and is getting decent ice time,
Plus he has 4 assists and is a plus 4

$1.5M for 1 year, a far cry from what he was asking.
