Walman fined $5K for his sucker punch on MT19 while he was being held by Klingberg. And, another $5k for for unsportsmanlike conduct.

The Oilers are certainly being held to a different standard than the Panthers. It's pretty clear to me who the NHL wants hoisting the cup.

Isn't it bizarre that all the pundits are saying the same thing, which is basically that the Oilers have to take all the dirty crap that the Panther team dishes out every game and not retaliate? If Bennett falls on Skinner or elbows him in the head, just take it. If the Panthers punch guys in the head, spear, go after knees, run guys, cross-check guys in the face, just take it because, gosh, the Panthers are good at that and that's their game.

And what does that even mean that "the Panthers are good at that and that's their game"? It seems to mean that the Panthers can do that crap and the NHL let's them get away with it but if another team does it they'll spend the night in the penalty box. The Oilers are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

I guess it's the Panthers until the NHL decides they'll favour another team. It'll always be an American team though, I'm sure of that.

Can't believe how undisciplined the Oilers are, they are playing right into Florida's game plan, Florida antagonizes them and then waits for them to lose their cool and take cheap penalties. Tired of all the whining too. Quit complaining about this guy fell on our goalie, this guy speared, this guy cross checked....you're getting blown out and embarrassed, if ever there was a time to settle some scores, when the game is out of hand, I'd stop complaining and I'd go hunting. I can cross check, spear and fall on goalies too, and if you're going to get fined $5k for a sucker punch and another $5k for unsportsman like, just drop the mitts and hammer the guy, don't p*ss around, get it over with. Quit playing like a bunch of self entitled primadona sucks!!!

Klingberg is in motion with the puck behind the net and skates into the corner to start a breakout with Barkov in pursuit, Barkov grabs hold of his arm, hauls him to the ice effectively tackling him, a Panther throws the puck out front and it's in the net. No call on Barkov on a blatant tackle that directly resulted in a goal.

Then the embellishments, Marchand gets a tap, throws his head back and gets the call. Bobrovsky gets lightly bumped, staggers backward like he's been shot and gets the call, Nurse nudges a Panther in front of the net who goes down like a fawn on ice and gets the call. This crap went on all night. No team no matter how good they are is going to survive a game called like that where one team can do no wrong and the other can do no right.
