Maybe, but it seems unlikely. Pietrangelo withdrew last week and TC hasn't mentioned anything about a replacement. It's a pretty deep team as is, especially down the middle.

I agree with all the points you've made here and hope Scheif would swallow his pride, forgive and forget, and accept the invitation. I'd love to see him in Team Canada colors doing his thing on the world stage. Would be a phenomenal experience for him.

I personally don't care about this tournament at all.

Scheifele will be on the Olympic team next year and that'll be worth a watch.
