Still can't believe how badly Cheveldayoff fleeced the Kings.

That would be handing Dubois a reward for bad play.

No, they need to trade him, even if it means taking back salary.  Probably an equivalent to what a buyout would cost could get a team to take him, especially a Montreal, or even the Rangers.
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

Nice win for the Bruins. Panthers looked very flat.

They looked rusty, especially later in the game. I expect they'll be better tomorrow.

Talk about rust, how about the Ava's in the first period.

Ava's played much better in the 2nd.period.

Very good game.

Wow, first five picks seem to always go to only a few teams...

Certainly seemed a great set of trades at the time, but bowing out embarassingly in round one and mow having these pieces lost to FA and having the cupboards bare on draft day, not optimal...

Easy to say that in hindsight. The Jets made the right moves at the time to bolster their roster, so I don't think there should be any remorse in that regard. It didn't work out as hoped but that's the way it goes sometimes.

Of course.  just a little "buyers remorse".  No one would or could fault Chevy for those trades, its just the result was bad enough, and then you get to the draft table and start at 37 and then not again until the 4th round... yikes.

Maybe Chevy pulls off a draft day extravaganza.  I really hope he doesn't trade Ehlers, but that would be a logical bait... bundle Pionk or Schmidt with him and get back some DP's...  then we only need to buy out 1 DMan...

If the Jets bundle Ehlers and Pionk or Schmidt, I hope it's for a proven piece that can bolster the blue line. Moving two pieces for draft picks doesn't make much sense at this juncture.

Sorry, of course we'd want a decent D back as well...

Seems strange to have to take so long when other relocations didn't.
