I've mentioned the bell curve and how it's gotten worse the last 5 seasons. 15, 14, 11, 10 and probably less than 10 this year.

The 1st few years were not good. So I'm hard pressed to call this a good legacy. Two great years followed by a downhill spiral.

I think it's somewhere in the middle.  If "amazing" is defined by the Bud Grant era (I wasn't around, but I have heard enough that it was the golden years and we do have a bronze statue of him) then no, this falls short. 

But we did end a pretty brutal streak of no Grey Cups, and then followed it up with another right after.  And if Covid didn't happen, it may have been 3. And if not for a play or two here or there, maybe 4.

It's been a great run.  My hope is that the mafia can realize it is time to move forward and realize it has been a downward trend for the past 4-5 seasons, and regroup.

If we don't win any more games, we'll tie EDM's 7-11 record from last year.  Remember, EDM: the team that was the TSN talking point for finding ways to lose games that year.

That's us now.

Brox & Ceresna said they came here because they wanted to be on winning teams.  It's going to be hard to convince high-caliber players to come here now.  No more fair deals: we'll have to overpay them like struggling teams do.
