I'm sorry to doubt the anointed one, but it really seems like Collaros is flat deeper in the game.  Throws are less accurate, reads seem rushed, everything just seems that half beat too slow to be effective.

Is it age catching up?  Is he not getting enough sleep the night before?  Does he have a nagging nick that gets worse over the game.

Do we have an answer for this issue?
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

He can't take the hits a younger guy would have been able to. He's just old. Can't think of any QB his age you would call durable. We have to keep his jersey clean any way possible. It's the only hope.

The snotty-nosed fan answer is: he just sucks now.

The slightly more detailed answer is he hasn't been able to elevate for a couple of years now. The red zone struggles are largely because the field shrinks, defense covers less space and he can't extend plays anymore to make up the difference. The hits take their toll, he can't really play a dominate game from the pocket (and never has), and he needs perfect execution from the 11 others on the field to sustain offense. That in itself is unsustainable.

Great player but like a few of our older players, he's two years too old.

Thanks for the career, here's your ring of honour date, but he's got to go if we want to win again.

He didn't shake off that hit, Techno seen him limping.  Set him off and Edm adjusted and we didn't.  That fire early was pretty cool.

I would have voted, should have switched to diesel or wondering if premium non ethanol might help.  Could be a clogged carb from too much low grade stale gas.

Little seafoam and he will be back firing on all cylinders lol.

Our whole offense seemed to lack energy and intensity that they had in the first quarter. Making great plays help inspire the team, and we weren't making great plays in the second half and the whole energy level of the offense was down. Stay with the run game, we're good at it, the big boys get fired up and smoke everyone in their path and that drives our offense, go away from it, we don't make enough passing plays to energize our group.

Where's the poll about Bryant and leaving ZC wide open?

For all the Zach haters out there right now, careful what you wish for, I don't see any Qb on the horizon that can replace ZC8 in our Qb room, we may go out and get Arbuckle, but until then, there's no sense in belly aching about it, Zach is our guy for 2026, and really what our offense is missing is a Kenny Lawler, who Zach had years before. We don't have the blue chip #1 play maker in our offense at receiver, we don't, and I'd be bringing in Geno to fill that gap asap, he would totally change our offense and back the secondary up.

The correct option is "hits messed him up".  Later in the game he was playing with a sore knee, and a woozy rattled brain.  One or the other or both threw off his dial-in and thus everything was overthrown (which is not like Zach).

His lackluster RECs didn't help matters either.  There were 2-3 catchable balls out there that would have extended drives.

If you want to blame Zach, blame him for being old and not being able to shake it all off like every non-geriatric QB does.  A younger QB would have been able to re-dial it in.

Game plan changed. Bombers didn't have play motion on offense in the second half. But. They get blitzed instead of just slow count and then throw a short pass went deep. Only thing is no time to throw the ball.  Get a second running back in there to block and also run in the second half.
