WBB/WWE marketing crossover

I, like many football fans, am an enjoyer of professional wrestling.  I recently saw WWE superstar Danhausen "cursing" the Cavs in the NBA playoffs.

I think it would be great if the club got him to do a cameo for the Jumbotron to "curse" the Riders for the LDC/Banjo Bowl.  Might help get the league a little more exposure down south, and would be a fun rib on Rider fans.

I have no idea who this is. Last time I watched wwf was when Jake the snake was there.

But... Anything that messes with the greenies is a good thing! Wouldn't break the bank getting it done though.

Danhausen is a recent additon to the WWE roster.  His gimmick is using his dark magic to curse his opponents and enemies, causing them to lose matches in funny and unpredictable ways, with his tagline "Very nice.  Very evil!".  He's mostly used as a comedy enhancement sideshow, but he's super popular with both adults and kids, and currently sells the second most WWE merch of all WWE superstars through their online store WWEShop.com.

His rate for a personalized 45 second video on Cameo is $250USD/$350CAD.  I'm sure Wade can dig that out of his pocket change.  Hell, a few of us could probably throw in to get a video done, and just give it to the Bombers marketing department.

$250 is doable!  But there might be legal considerations with using it in a "broadcast" / "theatre" setting.  And by legal considerations I mean "a lot more $$".

Plus... a lot of fans may like it, but a lot will be totally confused!  And it may not match the image WFC is trying to project.  Might go down better in a place like the Hammer?
