TBURGESS

Montreal. I love the way Alexander plays. What a great story too. He could win every game he plays in his first starting season, capping it off with a Grey Cup.
Winnipeg Blue Bombers - 2019 Grey Cup Champs.

I will be cheering for the Riders. My relatives in Sask. have suffered enough over the past 13 years. Also, Alexander is so over the top. Very Good QB but needs to dial it back a bit.
Don't go through life looking in the rearview mirror.

The Zipp

i might leave the country - sask is going to blow out the Als.

You going to the game or selling your tix?

I live in Calgary so will be watching the game. I have mixed emotions on who to cheer for. I think I will just stay neutral in terms of who I hope wins. The only good thing I can say regarding this cup is that at the least it will put some major coins into the hands of the bomber organization. I am not sure how revenues are split however would assume that there will be a fairly good profit from the game heading to the Bombers. Maybe Wade can use the dollars to get some talent on board for 2026. Like a new OL and DL and DBacks and and and!!!

I like Alexander as a talent but lacks character. Pull a hammy! Als still win.

Riders suffering makes it worth while.
Season ticket holder since year 1 of the Reinbold era.

ABTR = Anybody But The Riders! Go Al's!!!!

From Jamie Nye:

I've been asked from people wanting to be behind the Riders bench so here's what I've been told.

The #Riders will be on the visiting sideline for #GreyCup    and the Alouettes will have home locker room and Bombers sideline.

Also still mad about Ed Phillion. 😂

I'm ok cheering for the west. But I can't say or type it.  Can't do it.

Juvenile is putting it politely.someone is going to fill that guy in and shut his mouth for good!!

Sask D linemen have a history of taking QBs out, just saying.......

He is like 15.  Dude's almost straight out of college.  He's still just a frat boy.  I expect he'll mature.  Switching teams eventually would probably be very good for him.  I don't think he's getting proper mentorship on manhood from Maas.
Never go full Johnston!

Quote from: Waffler on November 09, 2025, 02:53:37 PMThis is going to be as close to a home game for Sask as they can get. Cold is likely. On the other hand I see Montreal trying to take out Harris by any means necessary.

Trevor took a huge 2-head-bang whack vs BC.  And he's being dumb and thinking he needs to run and not slide.  I would bet money those big MTL DL or Dequoy/Bev take out Trevor.  And if that happens, it's game over.

you can say the same thing if Sask takes out Alexander, whose mobility may well be in question if he plays.

Alexander is going to take himself out. It's cold now, perfect weather to pull a hamstring scrambling, he won't last the first half, then MBT the pick machine comes in

Yep, can't see him making it through the game and if he can't escape the pocket the Riders inside pass rush is going to eat him alive.  Would be mighty funny if MBT stepped in and kicked the Riders butts around like he did in week 15, 48-31 in Mosaic.
