This Century, not the 1800's!

Man guys, Lawler would not be in my top 5.

I think everyone on this list has at least one season better than any Lawler ever put up for the Bombers.
My wife is amazing!

As a Bomber? Edwards if we're talking longevity. 22/23 Schoen or 02 Bruce, if you want a dominant season or two.

It would be hard to say that Lawler wouldn't be the most purely talented on the list. The only other guy that's even close is Arland.

If we're going back in time, Ken Nielsen was my favourite bomber when I started watching in the mid 60's.
In this century, perhaps a bit of recency bias, but I went with Demski.

Joe did not play in this century though, but the prior one

The problem with Demski is he's never been the number one receiver on the roster of a successful team.

He's really a 2-3 guy. A healthy Schoen is better than him. Heck Wilson might be better by the end of his career.

There is no problem with Demski, he's a great football player, accept him as he is no need to denigrate him.

Some receivers shine brightly for a handful of games (remember Carleton Agudosi?), some for a season or two (Schoen, Matthews) , and some don't shine quite as brightly, but are excellent reliable receivers over the long term. Demski falls into the last category. He's put up 3 1000 yard seasons in a row. He also has made a lot of tough catches over the years, and a lot of his yards are tough YAC that he earns on his own. The fact that he's Canadian, from Winnipeg, and chose to come here from the Riders makes him a sentimental favourite.

He's our #1 short read, and able to make the deep bomb catch as well--he runs a post pattern as well as or better than most, and he runs the jet sweep, and the biggest asset he has, is he's a tough MF who doesn't whimp out and fall down like others on our roster. I'd take Demski hands down over any other receiver in the league, including the much talked about Kenny Lawler. Demski is far more versatile and productive than simply the long bomb WR. He does it all!!
